Switzerland’s biggest banks offer their own version of the TWINT app. Please search in the App Store for the name of your bank together with the term “TWINT”.
Top up credit:
The TWINT prepaid solution can be used by everyone, regardless of at which bank your account is
- Top up via your bank account (direct debit)
- Top up via a deposit slip
- Top up via a voucher code
Security:
TWINT is as secure as e-banking. All transactions take place in a secure environment. TWINT also does not disclose any personal data to third parties.
The money is not stored directly on the smartphone. In the event that your smartphone is stolen, TWINT can be blocked immediately by calling the hotline (0800 99 88 77).

Can’t register, asks me call support but it’s phone only
Hello, I can’t register. After submitting my phone no and giving the verification code I put down my personal info, but the app shows an error message:

An error has occurred (error code 15). Please call the TWINT for a solution.

The support is phone only, business hours only, and a premium number.
I’m on holiday and just want to pay for a parking and it’s evening already. It’s a terrible UX and a terrible idea. IMHO it would be better to just put a contactless card reader in the parking machine (but to be fair this is not in the app developers).
Please fix the registration issue, I’m happy to give you additional details but not on a premium-rate number.

Watch unlock
Now as the watch unlocks an iPhone with iOS 14.5 it would be nice to also unlock TWINT with the watch otherwise I still need to take off my mask to pay.
Nur noch bei Wlan
Ich habe seit 3 Wochen das Problem dass mein Prepaid Twint nur noch mit Wlan funktioniert. Ohne Wlan mit 5G Netz kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung: ups, da ist was schief gelaufen.
Sobald ich Wlan habe geht ws wieder.
Schlechte Netzverbindung kann nicht sein da alles andere immer funktioniert.

Achtung, Empfangslimite nur 1000chf/Monat
Wollte das Konto als Gemeinschaftskonto für einen privaten Event nutzen. Limite aber bei nur 1k chf, deshalb leider unbrauchbar für solche Zwecke.
