I’ve been using Preside for the past couple of years and will never look back especially when it comes to mail clients on iOS. It just works, the app collects no data from you, Rich the developer responds in a timely manner should you need any assistance & more importantly the app delivers all the features that you would expect from a email client (Except PGP keys) 😊 Other than that it beats all other iOS email clients hands down. Keep up the good work Rich 👍🏾😃

If you like “proper” email clients like MailMate on macOS you will love Preside on iOS. Highly customisable - as much or as little as you want. Actively maintained by an independent and responsive developer. Highly recommended - and almost all of the extensive functionality is free (with an option to support the developer if you wish). I would strongly encourage you to try it!

I have used Preside for several years to organise my many email folders. It is quick and easy – with intuitive suggestions for quick filing. Just what I need. A real bonus is that if I ever need help, the response is fast, helpful and personal.

By all accounts this app has been on the App Store longer than I’ve had an iPhone. If you’ve just found it, maybe you’re doing your regular, and seemingly endless, search for a mail app that will do what you want and doesn’t smother its failings in cool aesthetics. If this is you, you’ve probably found what you need here. Preside is an excellent app. It demonstrates just what’s possible with these devices. It makes the phone feel like a computer doing actual computing, and you can see it in the myriad settings available. I look at it and wonder what other developers are doing with their time when something like this exists. I started with my imap account and later added an MFA Office 365 account. The former was straightforward and the ease with which the latter got configured was a really pleasant surprise. EWS and everything, not ActiveSync (but you can if you want), and not imap (which you also can if you want). Preside has class.

Been using this app for nearly a year now and cannot fault it, and if your like me……..I’m a hard individual to please especially when it comes to productivity and various different apps wanting your devices meta data etc. Preside don’t request these 👍🏾 and provides a solid service for all my mail accounts. This app is going nowhere off my devices, and when it comes to customer service, should you require it that is 🥇 Keep up the good work.

Do not waste your time trying apps for free that will not get anywhere close to how good this app is. As they say nothing is free in life!! The after sales service is absolutely superb too. Rich replies promptly to any issues, which are very few. Also listens and welcomes any additional feature requests. I would give this app a SIX STAR if that was available. What can I say, except that I have used this app now for over 4 years or more, and is absolutely a superb app. I have many folders and sub folders on my PC, using Microsoft office exchange in outlook. This is where I save many important emails, but for a long time could not find an app that could offer the same functionality that this app offers. The native iPhone app is useless and does not offer any business functionality that I need. The closest may have been the blackberry phone, and that was a long time ago, with no real alternative option since!! You can access saved emails in folders, sub folders, expand, collapse, and create new folder, and sub folders and save, copy, delete and most of the things you can do with outlook!! WOW!! I would also like to praise the developer, Rich, who responds very quickly to any issues, and request made. So, so impressed and would highly recommend.

This is the ONLY email app on the AppStore that allows me to truly tailor it to my needs and desired workflow. Over the years, and I’ve been doing this since the start of smart phones, I’ve tried them all and all the other apps, despite their high ratings on the store, somehow hamstrung me into some sort of kludge that stopped me doing what I really wanted. I simply can’t believe I didn’t spot Preside before, if I had it would have saved so much time and frustration. Complete configurability is it’s forte. Of course there is a learning curve and it will take a little time to understand and configure the options, but I’m sure that if you persist (for me it was about 3 hours fiddling around) and get to know it, you will have your email doing exactly what you want. Well done; fantastic, great, just as apps should be - all substance and function, with no unnecessary concern with the fluff, or imposing a fashionable minimal interface on me or their own social media profile. And, they have the integrity to not force a ridiculously high subscription on me either just to carry on using it after a couple of weeks. I could carry on as I am for free but, I’ll gladly do a subscription, you rightly deserve it as the app is easily worth all the benefit I have had.
