Private & Secure VPN: TorGuard

Been using Torguard for about 10 years now in various countries with internet restrictions and service has always worked reliable and at good speeds. Had a technical issue with watching some live sports as more and more of these apps started blocking VPN connections but with the assistance of TG technical support i was back up and running in no time. If I could add some feedback I would like to see a more reliable solution to connect when in China, since I had some mixed results getting around the great firewall there. Other than, nothing but good and defenitly deserving 5 stars.

This app doesn’t work for me at all! It had one week free subscription but I don’t know why they charge me 13.99€ How can I get back my money? Could you help me?

Great encryption. Much servers in list in many countries. Great support. Only downside is that i found the app drains the battery. Great added feature for ads dns. Works like a charm 😁 Update 18-5-21: works great since last update also no battery drain anymore Feature request: add location obfuscation for gps as well..

I just renewed my subscription with this provider. Then my service got terminated a few days ago, without a prior warning. I contacted support and they told me their firewall might have triggered a false-positive. After that they started to ignore my ticket. Way to go! Don't (literally) waste your money on this worthless provider. When it works, it works, but when you need them most, their support is a joke. App has too few options and does not offer auto-reconnect, unlike the OpenVPN iPhone app (which even works if you close the OpenVPN app, since it's so well integrated into iOS!). I highly recommend using that one instead, until this app gets updated. The OpenVPN app also connects to the servers lightning fast, compared to the TorGuard app.

Torguard is worth every penny as a paid and versatile VPN solution. Plenty of servers and connection protocols to help you browse safely on any public networks or when you want to shore up your home connections. The protocol choices are great for getting around content filters and other things like speed throttling and connection limits at places like hotels and airports.

Great value and easy to access and use on all device formats. It is great to have on phone as a traveler.

No Wireguard customization including encryption, obfuscation. Poor coding that breaks and requires reinstall of app. Poor coding, connection robustness, and server availability making the always-on VPN a low reliability service. Small number of servers make it difficult to use some important websites and apps because most IPs are listed as a virtual network host.
