This has been a great alarm app until now. The progressive bells have provided a perfect wakeup. No sudden, jarring panic, just a natural feeling of awakening. Tonight, none of that happened. Within an hour of setting the alarm, a very loud, discordant noise came from the app, and it had reset from 8 am to 2 am. I reset back to the settings I’d originally chosen and went back to bed. An hour later, a different loud alarm sounded, and the app had reset the alarm for 3 am. Another reset. Now it’s 4 am and the same thing has happened again. Hacked? Maybe. Just be aware.

26. May 2024. I have used this app for a long time mostly on iPads. Of course it is also written to work on iPhones. The only issue that I have with the application is that the display on the iPad Pro 12.9 inch Gen 3 & Gen 5 is distorted with colored bands, going across all controls that make it very difficult to be able to read this is existed ever since the second generation of iPad pros were introduced so it's been close to four years now and this issue is not been resolved. I have contacted the developer, but I have not gotten any kind of response to my issues it's an extremely nice Alarm Clock application pleasant to wake up to gives you plenty of options on how it alarms and the tones that are used. The only negative is the display on iPad pros I wish that would be fixed so I'll recommend this app because it is fine on an iPhone, but I'll only rated at three stars until they fix the display
Love this app but it is frustrating that it often cancels out/goes black and then has to be deleted and reinstalled
My original review said I wasn't going to use this app because I didn't trust it because there were crashing bugs when I tried to use certain settings on the options screen. (Since then I've also noticed that the app does not appear to have been updated in seven years, which I would guess means it's technically dead and will eventually stop working altogether. That's too bad.) The generally positive reviews have convinced me to overlook all that, however, and I've been using the app to wake me up for work for the better part of a week now and it has been great. The benefits of a gradual alarm without interruptions while I'm setting it up or nags to pay for a subscription to get features I neither want nor need (Sleep Cycle, which I used happily for about ten years now, has lately become guilty of both of these transgressions, causing me to look elsewhere for a gradual alarm clock app) is a fine thing. And as a regular meditator, I very much appreciate the singing bowl tones it uses to wake me up. Long may it continue to function!
I have been using the Apple phone alarms for years and finally said I needed to stop doing that because they were so jarring for my nervous system. I love the gentleness of the different progressions that this alarm app offers its users. It’s so soft and gentle and subtle. Progressive 4 is my favorite setting because I literally uses 1% sound increase increments.
My old alarm app was no longer supported, so I needed something new. My top criteria was a fade in alarm with a pleasant sound. What I found were apps with so many bells and whistles that I couldn’t imagine peacefully using every day. This app is perfect. It met my criteria and works every day.
Works flawlessly for 5 months now
I love this app. So much nice waking to meditative brass bowls than harsh alarms. Starts my day out right
