When using mobile data:
• Depending on your carrier and network conditions, you may not be able to use Remote Play.
• Remote Play uses a lot more data than most video streaming services. Data charges may apply.
Note:
• This app may not be compatible with some games.
• You need to grant this app access to connect to devices on your local network. If you haven't already, you can do this from the Settings menu on your iOS or iPadOS device.

Why even call it remote play when we still need a wifi connection, what if I can’t get access to wifi, is 5G network not good enough, I assume it is as I could tether my ps5 console to my phone for a connection without the need of wifi…..

Sony need to patch the stutter issue with Remote play
Sony see Reddit r/remoteplay and r/playstationportal to see the bug that’s causing streaming at 59.94Hz rather than 60Hz causing issues with displays that don’t support a variable refresh rate. This has been proven as an issue across the board for all of your remote play software. Patches required urgently!
First update in months, still broken on mobile
You think given how long it’s been, Sony would have corrected such a major issue. Unfortunately, it seems like they didn’t get the memo. The app is still unusable when on mobile data. It only seems to work on mobile when I am connected to a VPN. I suspect it’s an issue with IPv6 only addresses. This should not be such a problem at this point in time. Do better.
This is not very good
I can’t use it while it’s off and my PlayStation only stays on for about 5 min because it over heats and the mother board of a ps4 break easy i didn’t do anything to break it

Unable to use controller
After I connected to remote play, my controller stopped connecting to my ps4 and now I can’t use it
Not working on mobile
Since the recent update its not working with mobile data. Saying speed too slow u need to do hotspot to get it to work so i would say avaerage. Whats the point of remote play when u cant play with mobile data
Works perfectly other than not working for IPv6 only Celullar
It provides smooth experience most of the time, especially connecting to local network. However, my mobile provider has switched to IPv6 only for three years now and This App can’t stream over IPv6 only network.
