This animation app lets you instantly bring to life anything you want, just by acting things out in front of the camera or touching the screen. Your voice is recorded as well. The result is your own animated video you can save and share!
The app even has fun guided activities that kids can follow along and do, making arts and crafts and then animating them.
Features include:
* Real-time animation - you animate in the moment, while you talk, and your puppet comes to life in front of your eyes.
* Motion capture - intuitively animate characters just by moving your body in front of the device camera. Use front or back camera. (Best results are usually with back camera of newer devices.)
* Multi-touch - animate by touching and dragging the puppet and its body parts on the screen, even using both hands or working together with a friend.
* Animate one or two puppets - you can have one puppet on its own, or two puppets where both can move and you can control which one is talking at any time.
* Create your own puppets - bring to life your physical artwork, your favorite toys, a person or animal, random stuff like your snacks arranged as a character, really anything you like!
* Create your own backgrounds - use a painting you made, a diorama, some interesting place, or anything else you want as your background.
* Choose from our designs - the app comes with a bunch of cool puppets and backgrounds already in it, in a cute hand drawn style that you can mix and match with your own creations.
* Export and share videos with audio - save a video of your puppet show, complete with the audio of your performance, locally and also to social media, cloud storage, or any other typical sharing method.
* In-app streaming tutorials and activities - guiding kids through using the app for visual storytelling, and teaching them how to create various physical art pieces and animate them.

3 stars due to an error using the motion capture on the selfie cam
Love this app Its so simple to use and fully love how easy it all is to set up but its a massive shame the selfie camera motion tracking doesnt work on iPad Pro …it just resets the app and you lose any work you’ve created up to that point …..hopefully they find a fix for this ……as using the back camera is ok but you can’t see what your puppet is doing or looks like which isn’t brilliant …
Slow During Recording and Playback
I downloaded the app today to keep my 6 year old entertained but unfortunately it doesn’t function well. In theory this app is great fun for kids but in. Practice it is slow during recording and playback during both hand animation and motion tracking. I am using iPad Air 5 so I don’t believe this is an issue with the hardware suitability.
Crashing
This app seems great but every time we try to save our uploaded puppet the app crashes, and we have to start again. It’s happened four times in a row and now we’re giving up
Hard to make good puppets, Confusing words
Hello, I think this app is really good.. although its hard to make decent puppets, If the image is transparent could you make it that the background is invisible rather than a dull blue background, this makes it look messy, and for the instructions instead of theighs could you call them top leg, and for calfs bottom leg, I have failed making the puppets many times because I don't know what the thiegh or calves are. Thanks
Crash
The app crashes for us when we try to animate with the camera/body movement.
Not worth the money
3 dollars wasted today, here I thought I would have an app for my Ipad to be able to do animated icons for my clients, turns out this is just a crappy app that was most likely made in 5 minutes that softlocks anytime I try to make a puppet. This is now $60 i have to refund to my clients because I can’t deliver the type of art they ordered. Seeing as your company is just an LLC and not a big worldwide company like adobe, I am going easy on the review. Please let me know if you ever make a professional version that actually works.
Good idea, but
I got this app for my child, and she was extremely excited. But when she inserted her drawing the app made her draw the body parts. In the end it became rough and missed some parts. When she started animating, the movements were really glitchy. It made her quite sad. I do not recommend paying 3 dollars for this app.
App crashing
I really enjoy this app but currently using this app with students. The app crashes every time we try to save and share our creations. Using iPads iOS 10.3.3. When I tried to contact app support I get a web filter because of pornography. I’m sure this is a glitch in our system but meanwhile I need assistance with this app
Awesome app
This is a stellar, user friendly app. And if there were any way to operate two puppets per scene, it would be that much better for it! Ifffff possible!
