Purple Carrot

I have ordered many boxes. Out of all of them this one is the best by far. I love the flavor. I would think of the things they put together. I am learning to love certain vegetables and they show me unique ways to add amazing flair. I absolutely recommend!

I can sign in on the website, but not on the app. I spent over an hour on this trying to log in.

I decided to try out Purple carrot prepared meals for a convenient healthier lunch option. I signed up with a promotion that indicated I would be paying 50% off the initial week of meals for a total of $39. First scammy action- the company emailed me that my first shipment would be full price $78. I wrote customer service who told me no worries, when I was charged for the delivery it would be promotional price. The following week I was charged at full price. When I reached out customer service apologized for their error and said I had not met the value for promotion by $2. I responded to cancel my order and my membership. The company would not cancel the order as the window for cancellation had passed. Then I received my meals all with best by days within three days of receiving and they were bland and had chunks of sauce and food. I was told by customer service though the Best Buy date is written on food it is safe to eat for a week. Buyer beware this is not an honest company.

Absolutely fantastic and delicious. Beautiful cook books (not single sheets) and more recipes included! Love it!!!!

The recipes are great. The delivered ingredients are terrible. My first box had black slimy thai basil and a soft slimy rotten cucumber. The ice packs used were nearly completely melted. I believe the problem is the boxes are packaged and held in hot areas for over 24 hours before they are even taken to the delivery company ( on-trac). My box that is supposed to be delivered today has been in a hot van ( currently 86 degrees outside) for 10 hours and still has not been delivered ( according to tracking). I am certain my second ( and last) box will be the same…. Rotten inedible ingredients!

It is impossible to change meals. When looking at ingredients in specific meals it does not allow me to go back but instead forces me to re- log in every single time I go to a recipe page

do not use Purple Carrot. I consistently had rotten produce. I canceled after several boxes that were bad and my card had not been charged yet for the box and the order had not shipped, but I was a few hours outside of their cancellation window and they would not do anything to help me, I got the box and again had rotten produce in every kit and they still would only refund me a few dollars for the ingredients that were spoiled, but that left me with a box that could not be used. 3 individual meals with rotten/missing ingredients for $89.50!!!!!!!!! Don’t buy into it. It’s a terrible company.

This app is practically unusable. Why have an "x" button that signs you out? I don't want to sign it, I want to go back. But nope, gotta sign in and attempt to edit my order all over again. How this app even got past the design phase is beyond me. Scrolling just stops working too - same bug happens on the mobile version of the website which shows me they're using the same code for both the app and the mobile web experience. Jfc get a new UI/UX team and do QA on your app before pushing to prod. What a clunky user experience.

Please add a “logout” button. Right now the x mark logs you out when you expect it to navigate back to the last page visited. For example, when I am looking at a recipe and I click the x mark it logs me out instead of taking me back to the meal selection page. This will make the app so much user friendly.
