Pushcut helps you kick off your automation when it matters. Create fine-tuned interactions for HomeKit, Shortcuts, and custom workflows through smart notifications and widgets combined with powerful automation actions.
Use HomeKit scenes, shortcuts, online integrations, and web services as notification actions that pop up exactly when they matter to you. Trigger these smart notifications from Shortcuts, HomeKit, schedules, locations, iBeacons, online services (like IFTTT, Zapier, Flow, Integromat, ...), home servers, or anywhere that knows what HTTP is.
Design beautiful custom widgets and display dynamic information that you can provide using Shortcuts actions, online services or our own API.

Gives you full control over notifications (threading, replacement, actions, …)
If you understand the title you’re probably already sold. Have fun.
(2024 review, 5*)
Eventually it clicked and it has long been an essential part of my shortcuts now :) thanks Simon. The website also looks great and resolves my suggestions.
Every other Shortcuts
(2021 review, 4*)
Looks fine and I trust the other reviewers but I don’t get it
So I’m not convinced I should make the investment of time to learn how to use it. Suggestions to developer: 1) publish one of those easy-to-parse tables of features, showing things that Shortcuts/HomeKit/IFTTT can’t do and that Pushcuts can do, and why exactly this will improve my life, 2) improve the onboarding and show us something cool that the app can do, even if it’s not an interactive demo.
This has totally revolutionised my home automation
Fantastic, well thought-out documentation and just really polished. Worth every penny. It has totally bridged the echoing void between Homekit and Personal automation. I can finally do really useful stuff that saves me time and effort.
Been using 30 minutes battery for days
Settings battery shows this using my battery every hour. Background app refresh turned off for the app. It isn’t shown in the iOS app switcher.
I opened the app. It showed a welcome screen and it went through a setting up on server process.
I deleted it. Bet that sorts it eating my battery!
Gutted I paid…
I’m gutted I jumped in paid the £32.99. I constantly get error 500s from the background actions as i travel about my house and it gets in range of my ibeacons. I don’t want the app to tell me that it failed. (Sometimes the wireless can be bad in places) - the app should just keep retrying and retrying until successful. The main thing we need as users is for the actions to happen. I use the app Locative and they have this running great. On to widgets.. I have some simple ones setup exactly as the example given so that they show if a device in Apple Home is off or on. The widgets take such a long time to reflect the changes it’s not worth using. Also setting another Apple device to run as a server requires that device to also stay unlocked! Having to allocate a device to be used solely for this purpose is a very expensive idea. I should of just stuck with Locative or Geofency. Free and are a lot more reliable. Developer - can I have a refund please?
'Keep Notification' option doesn't work
At first glance I was impressed, but the 'Keep Notification' option doesn't work and that will likely stop me from subscribing.
Amazing
A whole new world of iOS smarts. Simply incredible.

Been using my location for days
Not a great app, not very clear or easy to use and the notifications don’t even work! As well as this, they have been tracking my location for days without my permission and knowledge. Do NOT download! There are plenty of other better apps!
One of the best apps on my phone / iPad
Super responsive and helpful developer
Cool app, shame about the subscription
This is a really great idea for an app. I was hoping it would replace the last thing I keep LaunchCentre Pro around for, which is geofenced triggers.
Unfortunately, though, I’ve only got a flavour of its potential as this app is unlocked through a subscription.
I can’t justify replacing an app I already own (and paid for, once, years ago, with a single IAP since then to unlock the geofenced trigger feature when that was released) with an app I will have to keep paying for as long as I use it whether it changes or not.
Also, I’m really not clear what ongoing service this subscription pays for, except permission to keep using the app on my device.
I’ll keep checking updates to see if there’s ever a permanent unlock option, otherwise I can’t get invested.
