Hoewel we niet meteen in een zone wonen waar aardbevingen zijn is het toch interessant te weten waar wat gebeurd. Instelling met filters is eenvoudig.

…but I find it totally unfair to have increased the yearly subscription price by 500%. I will not renew to protest, as I am not living in an area affected by earthquakes.

QuakeFeed is a good app, but the depths are consistently off from USGS measurements. Fix that and I’d rate it 5 stars and awesome.

This app can be obnoxious. Especially with all the earthquakes in Hawaii. It’s constantly sending an alarm. I’ve tried to limit it to earthquakes over 4.0 but it won’t let me. I’m thinking I might be able to if I make a paid subscription. But because I can’t limit it now I am going to delete the app. I might have donated or subscribed if I could have limited it, but not now.

I live in middle America, with dear friends in various places around the Ring of Fire, a couple in the Mediterranean area, some are missionaries. Always good to know what’s capable of causing them problems. Nothing scientific, just good to know information.

Immediately you feel something moving, you check the app, and see where the epicenter was. Also great to not be deceived by fake news.

I stumbled across the QuakeFeed app one day quite a few years ago and I absolutely love it. I have recommended this app to many of my family, friends and colleagues. This app is accurate. We get the notification of earthquakes in one place after another on the earth before the news can broadcast it to the public. I highly recommend this app to anyone that’s interested in knowing whether an earthquake will be in your area.
