Nice to be able to learn quickly where the earthquake happened
Can’t use on iPhone
The recent update to this app eliminates the ability to view the quake and fire map on iPhone. You cannot reach customer support either. That’s a major screw up by IT.
Some simple enhancements needed to the Watch app
Love the warnings and the concept. I get the alerts on my watch which theoretically gives time to prepare for a quake. Could save your life! Except…. The alert is just some text. Usually saying something like “4.7 quake 5 miles NW from mysteryville.” A place you’ve never heard of before. Much more useful: 1. Put the magnitude in LARGE letters. Fill the watch face with it! If the quake is 2.1 or something it’s not very urgent. A 7.0 is VERY urgent. Just show the magnitude. And don’t beep once - beep 7 times if it’s a 7.0 if possible. 2. If I tap on the magnitude display the epicenter distance FROM ME. How far away? If I click on that display HOW LONG UNTIL IT HITs ME.
Essential for anyone in an earthquake zone
