Needs work!
disappointed that it does not differentiate between currencies especially USD considering most banks in Canada offer USD accounts and the larger banks offer cross border accounts.

This app appears to still be in development for the most part, however it is jam packed with features; if anything it may need to be ‘simplified’ and polished up. It is working well for me in Canada; an excellent replacement for Mint. I will stick with it as I’m sure it will eventually be everything I need and a lot more streamlined. I think it is well priced, I’m happy to pay for a well developed piece of software.
I subscribed the this app as a more modern alternation to Quicken. I like the ability to post future transactions and see the cash flow. I was never going to connect to my Canadian banks and just do manual transactions. My big beef is when you setup a recurring transaction and expect the app to post it when it is due, this does not happen. Very frustrating!!!
Come on man, offer at least a week trial period…
Horrible clunky UI, problems with missing transactions, can’t customize dashboard, doesn’t update transactions until 1 or 2 days later, support is slow and ineffective
Doesn’t even connect to many Canadian institutions and no converting of foreign funds, simply add all your funds together for assets calculation regardless of currency lol what a joke
With no trial, I won’t pay 60$. Keep it. Ridiculous!
Does it works with Desjardins bank in Canada? Can we subscribe from your web site instead from the app? Thank you.
There’s no trial. You only option is to immediately subscribe for one year don’t bother with this. I was going to switch from Monarch to this, but this no trial and making me subscribe right away before even being able to try. The app is a no go, don’t waste your time!
Like others here, I was crushed that Mint was shut down. I tried YBAB, Monarch, WealthSimple, PocketWallet, MoolahMoney and a half dozen others that would ‘t connect my Cdn accounts. They mostly use Plaid to connect which is awful in Canada. Quicken Simplifi to the rescue! Just like Mint they use Intuit to connect so most of the same banks connect: RBC, Scotia, Tangerine. Some don’t yet: SunLife, Prospera, MBNA. Think they’re working on it though and it works even more awesome than Mint with budgeting and tracking tools. Well worth the $60/year!
