quitSTART - Quit Smoking

Great app to quit smoking and stay a non smoker. Loaded with tons of inspiration and helpful hints and ideas to keep you on track. AND… it’s free! How awesome is that?

I was a smoker for 43 years, and I loved smoking. Smokes were my best friend, they were there for me through every event and situation. Quick start helped me everyday by reminding me I am not alone in this journey and received a surmount if support that has helped me continue to not smoke 💨

It’s free and very easy to use tool has help me quit smoking and remind me of why I have.

I get that this app seems to be for US residents but, there is no way of adjusting the actual price of cigarettes. I doubt the cost of cigarettes is the same in every state and here in Canada it is about $14-$18 a pack. In conclusion, I am not being given my actual savings. Unless there is a way to adjust it and I can’t find it in the settings. Otherwise, I think it is a great app.

So far, still smoke free. Keeps you distracted until the urges go away. Keeping your hands busy was a good tool as well.

This is the most important app a cigarette smoking individual could possibly have if sincere about stopping. It could easily be applied for any type of substance use addiction as well with a few tweaks.

This app really seems to keep me on track. I haven’t smoked in 3days but I do find myself reaching in my pocket for a smoke. Just habit I guess. I hope I continue a successful quit and not gain wait which is my biggest concern.

I love this app it checks in with you periodically and makes sure you’re staying on track

You’re better off going to Facebook and joining a quit group. This app constantly crashes and couldn’t play the distract me games.

It took me 11 days to really get the most from this app. That’s when I started opening the tabs and icons to familiarize myself with the information. I especially like the quotes. Sometimes the games (distract me icon) work. Sometimes they don’t load.
