Raid Rush: Tower Defense TD

I’ve been subscribed to Raid Rush Mega Monthly card since May 2024 and never had to watch videos to do anything. Suddenly, on October 12, 2024 I’m having to watch videos to do things such as spinning a roulette wheel or reviving a hero when the base is destroyed. If this is not resolved, this will be the last month I play this game.

The game is great its on of the best tower defense games on apple but the developers are a bit greedy some of the in game packs are insanely priced. An example being the chapter packs it will cost 5$ - 10$ if you buy a similar pack in the store page but it will be priced 49.99 as a chapter pack and similar stuff.

Game was fun but extremely difficult way too quickly. After three days, I could no longer advance the storyline, make any progress in the event, or purchase any upgrades. Ads were very numerous with little to no benefit for them. Deleted.

There are moments when the game can be fun for short bursts, which is probably a good thing, lol. But there are some mini games / multiplayer competitions that are clearly designed for pay to play. A player goes through waves of marches that are trying to destroy your base. As you eliminate the units and the wave, it builds up and unlocks towers or upgrades to existing towers and the map allowing you to to strengthen your defenses. Naturally, each wave gets a little bit harder, and this includes bosses that will arrive at certain waves of an entire match. However, there are clearly times when the increase in strength is far greater than the typical gradual increases scene throughout the game. For example I can go through the first five waves of a match easily defeating all the units and even the boss without them even taking a single shot on my base, but then the sixth wave will come through, and I can barely defeat one single unit of the wave and destroy my base in a matter of a few seconds. Nothing gradual about it. It’s like a 600% increase in strength from one wave to the next. Even basic units of wave will be tougher than the previous boss that I just beat. Clearly want you to spend money to strengthen your. If you don’t mind spending several days or even weeks, repeating the process losing over and over, however, still getting components to strengthen your towers until eventually maybe one day a month down the road you can finally beat that specific level then you would probably enjoy this game. Also bear in mind a very common review I read on here - and I’ve experienced it myself having gone through about 200 combined levels across different game types (20 here and there, special events, etc) - is that understanding basic statistics of chance when you only have so many options to upgrade during waves in a single match, and you will continuously get a role of three options none of which will help you, even if you use the free reroll or spend some gems to reroll you’ll get another set of three things that absolutely provide no assistance to you. In fact, I’ve gone through 17 options to upgrade in a match that was about 50% of air units attacking me and not once did I get anything to combat air units, even though three of the six towers I chose to start the match with were anti-air. That alone is virtually impossible odds to have 17 roles with three choices in each role and not get one single instance of anti-air. And then the same once you start upg

This game is very fun but unless you plan on spending money it takes way to long to upgrade and level up even when you do spend money it’s not worth it unless you grind non stop every day, it would be 5 stars if you could play offline for the people who don’t always have service or wifi like myself but since you can’t finding time to actually play is not easy so it’s hard to progress

The game is fun and because the towers and pathways are presented randomly it changes the game play on the same levels which is fun. However, if you want to progress it’s gonna cost some serious coin as everything is very pricey compared to other games. One thing they do which is really bad is that you when get an opportunity to select refresh and get other options and then this costs progressively more and more. What is frustrating is that around 80% of the time it just changes the order of the things you just determined you did not want. This is just a bit underhanded

Been playing this game for about 4-5 months now. It definitely can be a pay to win game if you want to best towers and to get far in events. When it comes to upgrades you best be ready to put time in because you will get stuck on the floors/levels for a long time because of the lack of opportunity for upgrades or odds of getting enough blueprints to make towers better. Unless you put in some $$$ Positive part is it’s not to hard, levels don’t take too long to complete wave wise, and you definitely get a lot of gems just by playing the game. All in all good game, minor flaws but still worth the download
