Almost Worthless

A basic internet search does a better job. I have three towers in my area, and this app only shows one.
App doesn’t work at all. Will not find out location with address or “current location”. Complete junk.
I purchased a RCA OTA outside antenna and used this app. I expected more. Compared to antenna point app this app missed multiple stations. The antenna works great, just that the app needs improvement.
I enter my address, select the recommended channels, press next and nothing happens. I have tried numerous times and nothing:(
This app isn’t helpful and I don’t like putting in my address. This antenna was supposed to be able to pick up farther distance than my old one, yet this one doesn’t pick up any local channels and my other one picks up from several cities at once. The antenna and app are both awful.
I got the app, followed all the instructions and got the green line to the tower. I still didn’t get the pbs station. I rescanned it in all directions none gave me pbs. I bought this antenna because it showed PBS on the front of the box. Please tell me what to try next!
When up on a ladder trying to locate a signal I’m not sure I’m cringing about spelling and grammar issues on a signal finding app. For those of us not born in the year of the Sputnik satellite launch, I don’t know off the top of my head where I should be pointing my antenna. Direction found and strong signals coming in.
Crashes every time it’s used. Absolutely worthless.
I live between two major markets and was unsure which towers would be closer (it could go either way, depending on which side of town the towers were placed; in my experience they are in outskirts, not downtown). This app was recommended by Wirecutter, so I gave it a try. Here’s What I really liked: 1. It does not collect data 2. It provides information specific to my address 3. I could choose which channels I am interested in getting (i.e., CBS/KENS because they are the one broadcasting the Superbowl today) 4. I got a visual of all the towers, labeled with the station names 5. There is an indicator ray starting at my house on the map. It turns from red to green when you line up with a tower… this made it really easy to choose the best window for my needs. The “helpful” review that this app is worthless if you know basic geography was just wrong. Depending on which station/market I want, optimum placement really could be any side of my house.
This app is as good as the RCA antenna, they are both junk. Will not pick up more than 4 channels even though we are 40 miles from a major metropolitan area.
