RealVNC Server requires the user initiating the connection to have a RealVNC Connect account and to be using RealVNC Viewer on a desktop or mobile device.
There are two ways to start a remote session:
• ON-DEMAND ASSIST lets you set up a session in a flash using a secure one-time code that’s unique to your session. This option is available on RealVNC Connect Professional and Enterprise Instant Support plans.
• DEVICE ACCESS lets IT teams pre-license a managed mobile device against their RealVNC Connect account. A session can be started without a session code, but the device holder still needs to authenticate the session. This option is available only on RealVNC Connect Enterprise Device Access plans.

SCAM DANGER-NO STARS
They tried to tell me they worked for Apple when they asked me to download this. Then they asked me to type in $500 after asking to view my Pay Pal Account. They tried to tell me it would translate into points after I hit done. In the end i realized these people were trying to scam me. They finally hung up on me. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE PEOPLE

A company used this app to act as Apple tech support. They then take remote access to your phone and record what your doing to gain access to your information. They tried to convince me that I owed money from using my phone on a public WiFi network. SCAM!

**SCAM** allows access to your phone remote
I googled apple care phone number. I thought I called apple care customer service instead it was a scammer who told me to download this app to help me remove apple care from my account. Once I download the app and entered code he provided over the phone he start telling me about 9 accounts using my Apple ID in the background that I can not see. He continued saying I have fraudulent charges from target gift $500, apple gift card $600 and $900 bitcoin charges. I immediately realized I called a scam number and he was telling me junk. I deleted the app and removed my credit card from Apple Pay right away. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!! SCAMMERS FROM INDIA BEHIND THIS

Scammers used this app
I was also targeted for a scam using this app by people pretending to be Apple Support. Beware — this app may or may not be useful or legit as an app in itself, but there are absolutely scammers out there asking people to download this for screen share posing as Apple tech support. I did report the incident to actual Apple.
