Receipts - Expense Tracker

Does the job of receipts and reports with lots of flexibility for Categories, DIY Fields, Notes and UI layout. If your time is worth more than minimum wage, get it. This is the simplest and fastest App I found for documenting receipts (mostly on the fly) and knocking out a report. It's quicker than sending it to someone else and checking for/editing mistakes when it comes back. I haven't used it beyond that. They guy moaning about obsolescence: I also moaned to Apple about them obsolescing other people's hard work and making stuff that slows to a standstill with their own iOS updates, but they were too busy counting millions of receipts to care. You don't buy a jacket and complain to the shop when it goes out of fashion do you? From the lack of reviews, I assume this App has been completely overlooked by those who need this type of solution. I guess when more than £27.50 comes rolling in, they might work on some improvements. Until then, I'm still using it anyway! 5 stars for enabling me to get and stay up to date with receipts over the last several months, for the first time in 8 years.

Excellent app for multiple businesses or projects

I have just purchased the full version this as I need to do my tax returns. However, I am based in the UK and whilst this app gives me the option of selecting GBP, it does not give me any option to calculate VAT on my business expenses. I would give this app 5 stars if there was a UK VAT facility.

I bought full version over year ago - version 4.0.5 - this no longer works under ios8 and they no longer support it (built in obsolescence to challenge Microsoft!) Can upgrade to v5 for full price again - there is a 50% offer but only from v4.0.6! (Never had option to upgrade to this thru iTunes). Not really impressed but had to buy but once up to date with data definitely switching to another app.

I’ve been a fan of this app for years. There are so many clunky and convoluted accounting apps out there. This one does exactly what it says on the tin. My only complaint is that there’s still no sign of it being ported to the iPad and Mac! I really really don’t want to use anything else for the distasteful admin chore of collating receipts. So please keep updating.

I love this app but was highly disappointed when I got a new phone and transferred everything over and it didn’t have the last six months of paperwork on it and now I have to find all my receipts for tax otherwise it is fantastic

I am a happy unaffliated customer, I recognised a great app when I see one. I have been a Receipts Pro user for a few years ago, I researched similiar apps, I settled on Receipts as is the most feature riched, highly customisable, stable, and user friendly. It has exceed all my expectations and met all my Australian tax time requirements, my 3 mini businesses, and personal spending and more. My accountant loves me, as I only have to export to email to my accountant in csv with all receipts attachments. I love the ability to create useful fields, ie auto calculate Aus GST, tag fields for a 'list' to pick. I adore the ability to take pics of receipts and i never have to worry about cant find receipts for warranty and proof of purchase again.. Two points to new users, 1) this is not an app that don't need learning, but I found learning to use the app intuitive, and evertime I find more surprise brillant features and many more to discover, ie I recently set up sync to Google Drive, backup these important papers is now painless and a breeze. 2) Beware of email size quota if u choose to email. Customer Service very responsive!!! This is an app money well spent and tax deductable :-)

It's a great app for storing receipts and budgeting. There's flexibility in creating excel spreadsheets with different data. When I've had troubleshooting issues, the developer is quick to respond.

What I like about this app is its simplicity. It doesn't use big fancy accounting words. It lets me intuitively store & index my personal & business receipts. It has decent backup/export options. It produces customisable reports. It's not shackled to a paid online service.

Having tried a few, this is just what I need - an electronic way of keeping track of my receipts and other expenditure, so that I don't have to do it all at once at tax time, it's all backed up to Dropbox (or whatever you choose), and I can have multiple accounts and filters. Perfect for keeping track of family expenses or individual tax receipts.
