A relatively important oversight is the lack of ability to set a specific duration for your videos. Instagram requires a video be under 90 seconds to allow music to be added. There’s zero ability to set a length for your videos on this app. I emailed them about it and requested a refund - they refused. So here is there 1-star review. Not worth the cost when you can’t even do something as basic as set a time duration.

If you care about privacy do not use Relive.

Have had wonderful results in the past with this easy to use app. Having a visual topographical tract to go with the pictures makes a great record of activities. However, in the past couple of months there seem to be increasing number of ‘fails’ when I’m trying to create videos. Yesterday’s activity has failed over eight times when attempting to create the video. I have reset my iPhone and reloaded my app to no avail. I have tried creating the video with and without my VPN on but still no success. Worse, numerous times I have tried the Help menu and get endless looping but no support. What gives? I downgraded app from 5-stars to 3 but if recent issues go unfixed, the app won’t be worth even 1-star.

Digging the app however I would love to see them import the Appalachian Trail shelter locations and prominent features.

DO NOT PAY FOR THE UPGRADE. It is worthless. I’ve wasted so much time trying to get my videos to create. It only works 10% of the time. They’re constantly experiencing “technical difficulties” that prevent the videos from being created.

I’d like to put these on TikTok or Instagram stories. Put this feature in your next sprint please!

Making videos keeps failing. And sometimes when opening app, everything is zoomed way in. Huge font. Unable to see entire app interface. Cannot zoom out.

I don’t know if somehow today I just happened to have more video clips then usual but the program limited the video clips and I believe this is a serious limitation on usage of the app. Seems like as long as you use only photos, you should be Ok, but the problem is that video is the only way to show certain things. Sometimes photos just aren’t enough and while the tracking is kind of cool and works well, it will become stale after a few times if you cannot be more creative with the videos it creates.

Great idea, but serious shortcomings. I suppose if you use it for yourself on a mobile device and don’t share, then it might be OK. But not if you want to share your activities. To view someone’s activity you must create an account login, even if they want to share with you. But you can’t create an account on a desktop/laptop, not can you follow someone on a desktop/laptop. That means that someone who doesn’t have a mobile device can’t follow you or view your activities. So if you have elderly or mobility-impaired folks that have no mobile devices, then they can’t follow your activities. It’s also not very intuitive to set up. Nor can one expand the photos to see them better. I wouldn’t use it except to follow two friends backpacking journey. Once they are done, the app will be removed from my device. Perhaps the folks that make it will improve it with time.

I’ve used this app to record several family vacations, where in the app crashes and loses track. Disappointing because I’ve invested a lot of time in making these videos only have the application fail.
