Description

Reminders Reviews

Lack of features makes app frustrating to use

0kied0kes on

No two way sync between calendar and reminders, but useful to get an idea of tasks on the day. Just make sure to open remindercal or a shortcut to sync reminders to calendar, because that is not automated. Tasks can't yet be moved within the calendar so you still have to have reminders open to update them. There are many features lacking that could make this a great app, but it is a good start.

Unreliable and buggy

The app has double synced all of my reminders to my calendar and now I have duplicate events everywhere. Highly recommend to not download.

Great App, but I have an Issue (please help!)

This is a great app and great addition to my Apple workflow. Thanks so much! I however have a question - Each reminder I have created is for some reason being created twice in the calendar. I have the automation set up to sync each time I open or close each of my calendar or reminder apps. Do you have any suggestion or have a way to fix this issue? Thanks!

I like this but I agree with the other reviewer that 2 way integration My most desired feature is being able to drag reminders in the calendar as a way to organise my week

Great app but needs 2-way syncing

This app does what Apple should have built into Reminders and iCal. You create a reminder with a target date in Reminders and it appears as an all-day item in iCal. It achieves this by creating a ‘Reminders’ calendar in iCal that gets populated with the scheduled reminder items. My only caveat is that (admittedly this is as advertised) it only syncs from Reminders to iCal but not the other way as well, so any amendments to the reminder item can only be made within Reminders. This means that it’s too easy to drag an iCal Reminders calendar item to another day and/or time in an effort to update the reminder item’s schedule, only for it to disappear into the ether. I understand from the developer that this 2-way functionality in is development - with that in place I’d give it 5 stars.
