Old version was so much better. This one keeps logging you out for no reason. Not nearly as user friendly as the past versions. Please go back to that style.
Very basic features but their time zones are messed up on the videos. Ring seems to be more popular, probably for a reason. 5/3 more issues - videos will not play on iPhone 12. Other versions of iPhone and two android tablets work fine but not the 12. I can create a live view video but when I go to view it, the app immediately closes. Done all the usual uninstall and reinstall but not working. 5/20, no response from anyone after 2 1/2 weeks. Don’t know if anyone is working to resolve. Might have to purchase competitors product and abandon Remo-communication would be very helpful to know if anything is actually being done to solve the issue. 6/3/23 update. One month since reporting issues and still inoperable and programming team has never contacted me. Extremely poor customer support. The problem may certainly be with the phone itself but if you can’t communicate with the IT staff, it’s hard to know. 6/28 never heard from staff-they don’t care if you have a problem with their product, they already have your money. Choose a competitor that services what they sell.
The previous app worked fine with the doorbell. I’ve had to reinstall the “improved” app several times. Also, previously, the videos were stored for 3 days free of charge. Now it’s just 1 day and you must pay for 3 days. You can still save any videos to your phone.
The app will close after viewing/deleting any video and I have to reopen it.
I have lost video since the last app update. How do I correct?
The most recent updates are comically bad as if Remo wants you stop using it. The doorbell is basically worthless now.
Recently the app was updated and now no video is recorded when motion is detected. You MUST subscribe to the Cloud account or none of your video is saved on iPhone like before. The whole purpose why I went with Remo was no subscription was needed, video would be recorded on iPhone. This camera is useless now because I’m not subscribing to use Cloud storage.
Sign Up page doesn’t work if you have a smaller screen like an iPhone SE.
SALUTATIONS; IF AT ALL POSSIBLE I WOULD LOVE TO SUGGEST THAT REPLACEMENT OF THE OLDER VERSION OF YOUR REMO OR IMPROVE THE NEW ONE. I HAVE NO IDEA 🤷🏽♀️ HOW THIS ALMOST NIGHTMARE HAS OCCURRED, BUT IT HAS. ITS MALFUNCTIONING ALL OF THE TIME. I’M NOT HERE TO RANT BECAUSE I KNOW THAT THIS WAS NOT INTENTIONAL ON HE PART OF YOUR COMPANY, HOWEVER PLEASE CONSIDER THAT AS WE THE CUSTOMERS PAY FOR AT LEAST GOOD SERVICE IT SHOULD BE RECEIVED. D.W.
