Simple to install, well designed, excellent quality and packaging. Instructions easy to follow, I did email customer support and got an answer the next day with detailed information to my question.

Works really well. But what happened to the widget it’s gone

Enjoyed the Remootio device and app, until there was an issue. They’re nowhere to be found for support. Pro tip: you can get the same (better?) functionality/support for $35 on Amazon (eKyro)….which is paired with a great app (Smart Life)

Great device, but blue tooth is very slow to connect lately. I think app needs an update

I have used Remootio successfully and consistently for several years. Their products are reliable and their customer support is spot on and helpful. I highly recommend their products.

Since the most recent update, I cannot connect to any of my device. Not by WiFi or cell or by Bluetooth.

Update ~a year later: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, developers add “Open Until <time>” function!!! I don’t want schedules, and the immediate open is fine for occasional uses, but most of the time when I use Remootio, I want the gate to stay open a while!! Your app won’t do that. My original review, still 4 stars: I’ve used this for about a year now to operate my driveway gate, and only have good things to say about it. I now have a second Remootio device that I plan to implement on a garage door. My one suggestion - seems obvious to me, but apparently not to the designers - is that this device should have a feature for “Open now, until <specified time or elapsed time>”. All they offer currently is an automated “Open every <time/date> for <specified period>”. Tedious, and far less useful. Still, this is an outstanding device (assuming you have the technical skill to install it).

IOS 17.0.3 iPhone 13 Pro Max Internet control of the gate intermittently unreachable, yet if the gate is opened via the clicker or via someone else’s Bluetooth or Local WiFi, the app sends open/ close notifications via the internet without issue. Could be a cloud issue or an app issue. Either way, it needs to be fixed.

I used to have a MyQ system on my old garage door motor. It worked pretty well, but requires a hub and internet access. When I couldn’t get the necessary MyQ gear in Mexico for my gate, I had to hunt for another solution. Remootio does the trick, does not require a hub, and works with Bluetooth, WiFi or Internet. There are a couple of UI features that could improve the app, but I really appreciate the Door Open / Door Closed alert messages - these alerts don’t require that you used the app to have opened or closed the door.

When we first installed this gate opener, the auto open worked for me and not my husband. I loved it. Never had to pick up my phone or open the app, just pulled up and the gate opened. App needed to be updated it said, I updated and the auto open Hasn’t worked since. I wish this was an easy fix!
