I had to read a review to figure out the correct way to pair, the manual is wrong. When u press the volume button to pair, u have to use the minus for the app and the plus for the rv. Very lazy company that couldn’t put something that simple in the directions. I would return it to punish them but im too lazy…

Bluetooth directions for the app and tv are slightly different. + and light for tv and - and light for app.
Initially I couldn’t get it to pair until I found directions from another review. Push and hold the “-“ AND the light buttons until the remote flashes, then pair from the app.
This app is great. Too bad people don’t read how to pair. Press and hold down the minus button (-) and the light button till it starts blinking. Then it’ll pair! Great app!! So happy!
Paired up my new remote plus with my Fire TV remote and tested the reason for its existence. Watched a show that my husband doesn't care for using the headphone jack. Amazing quality and sound! I also tested the "find remote" feature. Because of the other bad reviews, I was not expecting it to work, but it did work! I am constantly misplacing the remote so this feature is super awesome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As stated, app doesn’t work. Bought it specifically for the app function to find the remote. Waste of time and money.
Wont connect to use remote finder which was the only reason I purchased this, complete waste of money
