An app for the better management of apartment communities, payments, amenities, maintenance, etc would be great. This is not that app. Literally no idea what the point of this app is. it’s basically a link farm except they decided to put it into an entire app rather than just a single landing page on the property website… simply said there is zero advantage or benefit to downloading this app. And I’m not sure why an apartment management company thinks I would want to use their discount code on bass pro shops.
Seems like one of those projects that was a giant waste of time but the company invested enough money into it that now they can’t backtrack.
Can’t do split payments on app.
Me and my partner always did split payments on rent and it was never an issue. Ever since having to switch to this app it won’t let us do split payments. As long as it will not let us do split payments we will not be using this app to pay rent.
The Worst App!
Greystar forces tenants to use this app and it’s subpar; always glitches; difficult to use and simply unreliable. Additionally, tenants need better options to protect their financial data. I feel nervous every time we the app is used knowing their app couldn’t protect tenants privacy. It’s a real problem that’s not addressed.

Really unhappy with our apartment management shifting to Greystar and now forcing us to use this app. The user interface just to pay rent is pretty horrible, it’s a minefield of predatory advertisements by Bilt—the “pay rent” section is such a small fraction of the service, all the rest is just marketing. Finally linked my bank information, successfully paid the first month manually, turned on autopay with the same information, and it failed the first eligible month. Had to relink my account and manually pay again, and I now have no trust in autopayments going through.
There is also no display of itemized charges through Grestar or Bilt. That, of course, is an entirely different service. It is astounding to me that anybody working in property management thinks this process works. It is broken and may be the final straw to persuade us to move out. We will selectively avoid all properties managed by Greystar from now on.
We do not need an app for resident experiences
In a blatant attempt to further dehumanize society, Greystar has now imposed this app onto their residents (myself included) for the sake of earning “points” for a chance to “pay less in rent because you can pay in points”.
This could have been a website. Work orders can be brought up and completed on a website. The app is a meager attempt to ask us to “volunteer” for BILT rewards when the majority of us simply want a hassle free living experience with access to human beings for the sake of fostering a community. Oh well.
Bad design and UX
This all never remembers my credentials. It has so many ads for no reason. It’s clunky and slow loading. I wish property owners would stop sucking off their shareholders by making residents DL their nephews project apps.
Worst app in human history
Useless, you have to sign in 3 different websites to do anything. Payment separate website, lease info different, maintenance request on this app. Multimillion dollar company can’t make a working app/website

Worst app ever shame on greystar
This app is awful. Doesn’t show break down of charges. Claims there is an update needed but no such update available in App Store. It’s basically blank. Greystar should be ashamed for forcing residents to use an app that doesn’t even work properly. RentCafe was significantly better.
App - not great
Difficult to navigate through to pay your rent. Would love to be able to not use the app and make payments directly to the company. Hate how the app pushes marketing “things” to me.
