Not for screen reader users!

VoiceOver does not read anything

Useful and fun

The app does exactly what it is supposed to, and that is to let you train rhythm in a game-like way. Been using for over a year and there's plenty of rhythmic patterns to work on.

Grouping?

ProfessionalMusician123 on

Concept is good, but no simple way to stop during a "test". Come on, give it a stop and a repeat button! And past level 1 exercises, it all gets really frustrating.. My main problem, which will make me ask for my money back: if I am to use this app on my students, or even spend a couple of bucks on it, I need the grouping of the notes to be correct. I'm not looking to teach or learn how to read badly written music. Example: exercise 49. 16's should at least be grouped as four! Correct writing is of course 16-8-16th. Exercise 96/97 is just plain silly. All over it lacks understanding of how to notate syncopations, and how to notate any value smaller than 8th notes. One would expect that someone that makes an music app, and ask for money for it either knows music, or hires someone that can give some feedback before you put it out. This is just emberrasing to put out, let alone charge money for.

Great app

I had a lot of fun with this app! It is a great tool for learning rhythms

Almost perfect!

This app had me nailing off-beats and crazy rhythmical figures in no time! It's a fun, simple and effective way to improve your time and sight reading skills, and it's customizable enough to remain challenging almost indefinitely! The settings menu is a bit cluttered, but who gives? Just swing the metronome and tap away! I'll put my (somewhat sore) tapping thumb way way up for this one!
