The beat counter helps to sing or practice with ease. We like to make things simple, hence controlling the volume of tabla and tanpura can be done with the help of sliders, same goes for the tempo. Tabla bols are highlighted in a karaoke like style that helps new learners and tabla enthusiasts

I’ve tried so many of these but this is definitely the best.

Disable ads for paying users!

Great app with lots of functionality, I use it in my daily practice routine. However, I purchased some more taal and tanpura packs and was a bit annoyed that I’m still bombarded with adverts (that interrupt the app’s sound output!) every time I hit pause or play. The app is also prone to crashing/restarting whenever I try and use it again after closing an ad. Other than that it’s a really handy bit of software.

Gets Stuck On Ads

This maybe a good app, but pops adverts up to fill the whole screen. These can only be removed by shutting the app down. Save your time and don’t download this.

Review

This is good for accompaniment and learning different thekas but be aware that this does frequently crash which is frustrating, annoying and a great shame. This app has potential to grow but is hindered by the fact it crashes.

Practise makes perfect

As a sitarist this is a brilliant accompanying app. Good tabla Taals, with a tanpura backing. Decent Lehra and ragini machine combined. But and this is a huge but, the tempo only goes to 240bpm which when playing a fast jhalla, this is still far too slow.
