The beat counter helps to sing or practice with ease. We like to make things simple, hence controlling the volume of tabla and tanpura can be done with the help of sliders, same goes for the tempo. Tabla bols are highlighted in a karaoke like style that helps new learners and tabla enthusiasts

Great sound but uses battery in background

Likes: The sound and usability of this app is great. Really enhances my sitar practice. Dislikes: As reported by the iPhone battery monitor, this app has been using lots of power in the background, even though it is not active and not playing sound. I noticed that my battery has gotten a lot worse since I downloaded it, and this must be why.

Rhythm with Tabla

I find it to be the better tabla app. I use the free version and am thinking of buying it. I downloaded several apps but eventually I remove them because they don’t t do it like Rhythm with Tabla. I take tabla lessons and I go back to this app every time when I want precision and speed. There are 10 praakars In it which is foundation for playing tabla. Much appreciated

Not for a singer

How is a singer supposed to sing using this if they can’t even choose the pitch they would like without buying premium? I need it for once a week classes and no way am I buying premium when I’m spending so much for classes itself. LET US CHOOSE OUR PITCH WITHOUT PREMIUM!! Do I want to sing on C# when I sing on A#?? NO!

Only C# tabla sounds good

Amazing idea and controls etc. For both, Tanpura and Tabla. Sorry to give a low rating because only C# tabla sounds good. Others sound pretty bad. I love to use this app for my riyaz and look forward to future updates with improvements.

Bad at different scales other than C sharp

I just bought this, and it soundss soooooo bad at different scales. I hope the developers fixes this problem. It is really problematic

Not a real sound

Not a real professional sounds there. Machine modulation from key to key. App also has no 432Hz tuning. Be ready to get a toy, not a really helpful app.
