RICOH Smart Device Connector Reviews

Needs modernising

KCCodes on

It found the printer okay which is great, but there’s no integration with the system Files app and I can’t open PDFs in the app so it’s not that useful. I don’t want to connect an email account when all I should have to do is open the PDF in Files and import into the app.

It doesn’t work

What a complete and utter waste of time. That’s 2 hours of my life wasted which I won’t get back again! WHY, WHY, WHY?????? We’re not all computer nerds!!!!!!!

No longer works

The Ricoh is a great printer ( I have an SP C250 ). I was sold it on the strength that it could be used with the iPad/iPhone. Although not as good as the HP laser printer using AirPrint that I had previously, I could usually manage to print out most things, using the apps available, reverting to the pc when in trouble. I’m not sure if it’s the latest version or the new ios14, but it doesn’t even load any more. I hope this can be resolved or I am going to have to look for a new AirPrint laser!

Can now print from iPhone at work! Awesome!

Good app which allows me to use my iPhone to print of emails etc. At last! Out Ricoh printer/copier has no AirPrint.

It’s really, really good

I downloaded and used this for the first time today in a friends office (with permission!) and found I could print anything from Files and Pages. A previous reviewer had problems in school but if they use use the share icon that is available on all Apple apps and most others on their iPad they will find the Ricoh app available. Just click on that app and printing just happens. Jimmy

Almost brilliant

I use the app in our school and it works really well to print to our Ricoh photocopier and connects to our school google drive to print files stored in the cloud. However, the lack of ability to print files stored on the iPad itself is a problem and the fact that it cannot print off documents created in Pages or even Word is ridiculous. I only seem to be able to print PDF files. Please can this be fixed?!

Poor . Tries to use bluetooth even when its off
