Roomer: Travel, Save, Earn

This app makes booking travel much more convenient and easier. I love that you can watch videos that people have posted and get a good idea of what I’m in for when booking a hotel.

I had the odd experience of a confirmed booking going canceled within 24 hours unprompted by me. Customer service was really apologetic and eager to make it right. Had another buggy situation trying to book elsewhere but it all worked in the end and service was polite and professional about it. Hotel was great.

I had high hopes for Roomer, but my experience was nothing short of disappointing. The concept of booking by video sounds great in theory, but the execution is severely lacking. First, the app is glitchy and slow. It crashed multiple times while I was trying to browse listings, and the search function often returned irrelevant results. When I finally found a reservation that seemed like a good deal, the booking process was anything but smooth. The app kept freezing, and I had to restart it several times just to complete the transaction. Worse, the customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive. I had a question about the reservation I purchased, but it took days to get a reply, and when I did, the response was generic and didn’t address my issue. It felt like they didn’t care about resolving my problem. To top it all off, when I arrived at the hotel, there was an issue with the reservation. The hotel claimed they had no record of it, and I had to spend hours sorting it out with both the hotel and Roomer’s support team. It was a nightmare and completely ruined the start of my trip. Overall, Roomer feels like a poorly managed platform with little regard for user experience. Save yourself the trouble and book directly with the hotel or use a more reliable service. I won’t be using this app again.

This is by far one of the coolest apps I’ve come across in a long time. I love to travel and now I can see and get a true perspective of a hotel through the customer’s eye. Forget all of the other sites. Book through this site and get a real glimpse at where you want to stay. Very cool

I like that I can make money from my hotel stays - I like taking videos and showing my friends and followers what I’m up to so it’s cool that I can make money from it. I wish there was more music on the platform. I also didn’t exactly understand how to add my videos at first but once I figured it out it was really fun. I’m a flight attendant so travel often so excited to see how I can use the app even more!

I have had good experience finding stays on roomer that were sometimes 3-4 times cheaper than other sites. My most recent experience I mentioned that I was traveling for my anniversary and the team also helped me customize my itinerary. Overall a great experience. I think they are also improving their services. I’ve been booking stays on roomer since I heard about them in 2018 - it’s cool to see how dedicated the team is with all of my trips.

I love how Roomer makes travel inspiration effortless. Watching videos and instantly being able to book the exact hotel is a total game-changer for me.
