RoseConnect Premium is the best way to use Rose devices on your network. You can do all of this on your iPad and iPhone.
-rose device search
Automatically searches for Roses connected to the same network. If the search does not work, you can run the search again by clicking the Rescan button in the upper right corner.
-Remote control function
You can control your Rose device remotely. ( Mute, power on/off, volume control, service control )
- play music
You can remotely play the sound source in the Rose device on the rose device.
- Podcast play
You can import podcast list remotely and play it on the rose device.
-Internet radio
You can search for Internet radio addresses on rose connect and play them on the rose device.
-TIDAL
After logging in to TIDAL in rose connect, you can play TIDAL sound sources on the Rose device.

Idiots!!!!!!
Oh my GOD!!!!! With this update the app NO LONGER CONNECTS TO MY RS520!!!!!! Right before Christmas, you put out an app update that BREAKS THE APP!!! Unbelievable!!! If I pull up the QR code on the RS520 and scan it I get "ip address not found”. I cannot tell you how much I regret this purchase! $3,500 for a brick!
Was “working” before the Premium “upgrade” on my IPad Pro…
Premium opens but crashes evert time I choose a music something to play. Nice “upgrade”. D’oh,

Gets worse with every update
This is embarrassingly bad. I cannot even search for artists in the “Music” section since the last update. Terrible app. So bad it makes me question the entire company. Had I known I would never have purchased one of these units. I do not think anyone who built the device or the app has actually used it.

Tidal Connect Please
Please give us the option for tidal connect. Love my rose but really don’t like the app. We spent a lot of money on these devices, give us the options we need to be happy.

New issues since updates
Having these new issues with a slow app, and automatically being logged out of quboz. Very annoying.
Worst App in Industry
The RS150B is a real work of art, and it works extremely well. If this had the same app as the Eversolo DMP-A6 it would justify the fairly high price tag.
Instead, the app is total garbage. It’s in broken English, which at this point is unforgivable. Apple Music is mostly in Korean language in any playlist, and it seems to default to Korean music no matter what the settings are when looking for new music. Tidal isn’t as bad, but it’s not great. Any music you add when discovering has to go to a Rose playlist, so you can’t add to or edit existing playlists.
So, it’s good if you are using it as a Roon endpoint, but there are a lot of other options that have a better value prop for that.
Apple Music is only truly usable via Airplay, which again, there are a LOT of other options.
My guess is that they locked themselves into an OLD heavily customized version of Android and are unable to fix the situation.
I spent $5,000 on a HiFi Rose RE 150 just to have an awful experience.
I feel like the only things the HiFi Rose products have going for them are looks. Their app is mediocre! Not enough time/effort/dedication put into this app.. which is ridiculous considering I paid 5 grand on one of their products. Needless to say this is the first and last product I’m buying from them. DO US ALL A FAVOR AND HIRE SOMEONE THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO WORK ON THE USER INTERFACE!!!
