Great App.
Enjoying the app and the birdie subscription. Good value to get the data on where to improve. I also use the watch app to collect additional info such as putt and flag locations to help with proximity data. Only gripe is that the use of blue on the Watch app GPS yardages is very hard to read. Can we change the colour please.
Over complicated
The interface is confusing, setup is awkward and the watch features are probably the worst on the market. Really needs a total interface overhaul to compete in a crowded market.
Easy to use golf app
Really great, reliable app to keep track of your round and then post round provide insights into how you played and what you can improve. Would love to see a couple of updates: > ‘plays like’ distances that take into account greens being uphill/downhill and ideally the weather conditions on the day (this last one might be a stretch). > views of the hole on the phone and data on the apple watch that shows distances to bunkers and other hazards by default If these things are already available on the birdie or eagle subscription, please let me know (I have a par subscription).
Best golf app
If your serious about developing your game and maximising scores this is the app for you. Take a little to get used to but we’ll worth it in the end. I always thought me driver was holding me back but it was short game and putting this app will show as you go and as your game changes.
Undecided
Undecided on the app. It’s actually fantastic when I first downloaded it but then it kept crashing and I could never sign off on a scorecard. It has great potential though. Thus I am undecided but I wouldn’t be subscribing until the bugs are sorted.
Looks good, but...
Downloaded to try it the first time, but never got to use it. Crashed each time when editing the clubs.
Best Apple Watch app
Starts automatically or manually. Simple to use. Gives useful info. Easy to advance holes on your wrist w/o having to fumble looking for phone. That is the best feature. I’ve tried others but this is easiest to use.
Used to be V1, terrible after changing to roundabout
Since the change to roundabout, I cancelled my subscription. The rounds don’t save properly, and the app keeps crashing. I can’t review anything from the past round without the app crashing. It saves about 4 holes and then it will just close. It used to only happen after the round, but now it shuts down mid-round.
Worked great until…
This app worked well until it changed to Roundabout. Note when looking the round summary or hole by hole the app crashes. Looking at the scorecard seems to work fine. Maybe just an update is needed. The Apple watch function is great, yardages are spot on.
