Guys, common! It’s impossible to register / test your app. I see “visit website to finish setup” and that is it. Fix registration process, right now your app is useless.

Apple TV Issues

If you sign up using your iPhone there seems to be no way to log in from Apple TV. Searching forums reveals many people having this issue over multiple years. What a terrible oversight.

Improving all the time & far better than Zwift

If you tried Rouvy a couple years ago and didn’t like it, try it again because it’s getting better all the time. More & more users too (it seems) so all the social aspects are there. I love being outdoors, and when I can’t be, Rouvy is definitely the next-best option. I did a trial of Zwift and found it odd and cartoon-y by comparison. Rouvy is great.

Customer service is lacking

rtree25 on

I wanted to try ROUVY and signed up and in the same day thought i had cancelled my membership after deciding to stick with Zwift. 14 days later I see the charge come through and attempted to cancel again. After a few unsuccessful attempts I emailed ROUVY only for them to send me back to their website. My 2nd correspondence from ROUVY shared “detailed” instructions on how to cancel and “make sure you go all the way to end” to ensure you cancel as they try no less than 4 times to persuade you to stay. I have canceled plenty of memberships online and have not experienced such a deceptive practice to get subscribers to “stay”. Very disappointed with my experience and expected more, based on volume of low reviews….maybe I shouldn’t have been

I Feel Scammed

I found a promo on Groupon for this app. I paid $11.24 for a three month subscription. I entered the promo code from Groupon upon subscribing to the ROUVY app. Once I set up my account, I received a free 7 day trial, and then they tried to run my card they made me put on file for $14.99. They never honored the 3 month subscription I paid for. They have this set up through Groupon to take your money. Scam! I would not mark a star if I had a choice. I’m so tired of scams.

Great app

Okay, so I currently ride a Schwinn IC4 that I used to use Peloton. When they added new tiers and increased their price, I decided to look around. I tried the other Minecraft-looking app, which people seem to love, but it was buggy and not easy to do an FTP test, and connecting to my bike was problematic. I switched to Rouvy. It has a super clean interface, is intuitive, and is easy to use. I love the percentage power meter, which allows me to adjust the resistance or pedal harder and super easy not to focus on exact Wattage. What I love is the real-world videos. I have it on my TV and going downhill, I find myself pedaling faster as if I’m going downhill. I love seeing actual places and feel like I’m on a sightseeing tour. There are only two enhancements I’d make. The first would be to share data with Apple Health. The lack of integration isn’t too much of a big deal, as it’s available through Strava. The second would be to have the option to connect Bluetooth devices during the ride, as opposed to just before a ride. I’m looking forward to upgrading my trainer to one the app can control so I can get out of turning dials and enjoy my rides.

Horrible Customer Suport

RyanOAZ on

My stationary bike is shown to be fully compatible with Rouvy on the manufacturer’s website. Yet it has major issues with speed and RPM. After weeks of waiting Rouvy finally got back to me and told me that my bike isn’t fully compatible. Now they refused to give me a refund and only offered credit towards a future membership. This is absolutely no help if my bike isn’t compatible.

Misleading

Do not sigh up for the free trial! At the end of the trial they charged me for a yearly subscription . I intended to be charged for a monthly subscription. And you cannot reach them - by phone, by email or by chat! Horrible customer experience!

Since joining Rouvy less than a year ago, the Rouvy team has improved the system and made it more user-friendly and attractive in a very short time. Keep up the great work, Rouvians!
