Poor ERG
Beware - I just completed a 99.6km route and the data didn’t save - it appears to be forever lost - I have since found out that ROUVY doesn’t have local files stored like all the other cycling apps - and therefore the data will not be retrievable. Shame as the routes are potential interesting and less game graphic based.
I do like this app when it is working, there is nothing worse than entering a group ride, when you’re ready to go and then it doesn’t work for you. And on occasions it will cut out half way through, and you don’t get the whole ride. I do hope this is sorted soon.
The app refuses to recognise me and continues to ask me to pay again. Little support from ROUVY
App in general is fine, frustration comes when app updates and you have to log back in and reset connection to your smart trainer - should not be needed
Tried to use Zwift several times but always had trouble connecting devices and using the old fashioned interface on my AppleTV. ROUVY just works! I followed their instructions to use my Apple Watch for my heart rate and it just worked! The interface is way nicer and I love the realistic rides. Really don’t understand why so many people like & use Zwift over this.
The routes are based on real rides, which give you a feel of the countries and places you may visit with your bike. The simulation is way better than Zwift, with the bike resistance corresponding really well to hills, inclines and flats. There are literally 100s of routes, workouts, events and training schedules to choose from, so you went get bored cycling the same routes over and over again.
just signed up with a podcast offer. really enjoyed first few days exploring app . Great graphics , routes , and dashboard layout . i can embrace winter now!
Zwift pricing out of market. I like the real world video. , slightly jumpy. But generally. Good I enjoy
After a couple of years of zwift Rouvy was suggested to me as a better alternative. It is, it looks better, riding real roads I’ve been on or want to go on in real life is superb. The two faults I have with it are that sometimes it glitches and freezes for a while, so if you are doing intervals or the gradient changes this can mess up your ride, and when free riding there is no indicator showing which gear you are in. Otherwise great.
