RTÉ Radio Player

Rarely works properly. Impossible to get into many of the clips within the different shows. If you come back to a given clip, it starts you from the beginning all over again and you cannot move forward. If you want to move it back to listen to something, you cannot. Some clips play and some clips don't. Absolutely abysmal service.

Still freezes or jams on one programme or on live programming, trying to recover or restart just bring another round of repeated ads; most frustrating app I’ve ever used Please go back to the old simpler app of 5/6/7?? Years ago. Each change is a downgrade; app continually gets jammed; ads repeat ad nauseam after every glitch or pause….. Keeps crashing, ads repeat even when reload. Terrible buffering. Rubbish

Very embarrassing from a national broadcaster- limited functionality and very slow to load.

App constantly crashes and you are forced to listen to an advertisement before you pick up from where you were last listening. In the space os a hour you could be forced to listen to the same Advertisement up to 18 times . Really annoying

Ads, ads, ads. And then when you eventually connect to the live feed it might cut out again if you click on a different app or site and the process starts again. Woeful user experience. I’ll stick to the wireless for RTÉ. Compared the amazing BBC radio player it’s a second hand Lada car.

Please stop repeating ads when you switch a station, or have a minor / normal interruption in streaming. And keep running when i switch app as the ad is playing on launch. 😡😡😡

I like the app itself, but too many ads on startup and if you have to stop a programme for any reason. Really really frustrating!

Service keeps stopping and have to listen to the same ads over and over every time it restarts.
