The RunPee app exists to improve your movie-going experience. The database is updated weekly with the latest movies so you will know the best times to run and pee, without missing the best scenes. Of course, we provide a synopsis with each Peetime, so you will know exactly what you missed while you're gone. There is no other information like this in the entire world. We have over 1,900 movies in our database, and more added every week by our family.
How does it work? The built-in Timer will alert you, by discreet vibration, 30 seconds before each Peetime—so you don't have to worry about bothering the people around you in the theater. Now you can relax and enjoy the movie...without wondering when to take a break. You never have to sit down again and ask, "What did I miss?"
The movie's over... Or is it?
RunPee will let you know, for FREE, and without the bother of any advertisements. We tell you what extra scenes are coming and when, and if they are worth staying for. Lots of people (worldwide!) rely on this feature alone. :-)

Mega hilfreiche App
Ich persönlich nutze RunPee exzessiv für drei Funktionen: • die namensgebenden empfohlenen Pinkelpausen • Info über zusätzliche Szenen im bzw. nach dem Abspann • Zusammenfassung der ersten Minuten, falls man mal zu spät kommt Seit Jahren ist die App für mich so eine immense Erleichterung – eine geniale Idee, die meines Wissens so von keiner App umgesetzt wird. Die weiteren Features wie Timer, Filmkritiken und 3D-Bewertung nutze ich zwar selten, aber auch die scheinen absolut okay. Außerdem werden alle App-Funktionen ständig ausgebaut oder verbessert. Keiner kann erwarten, dass eine dermaßen betreuungsintensive App – noch dazu komfortabel und verlässlich – kostenfrei bereitgestellt werden kann. Trotzdem hat man ja in-App drei Möglichkeiten: • jeden Film einzeln zu bezahlen • einmalig unbegrenzte Nutzung zu erwerben • anstatt irgendwas zu kaufen, sich pro nachgeschlagenen Film einen Werbespot anzusehen. So ist für jeden User was dabei. Mehr als fair. Und einige Features sind ohnehin kostenlos. Der Vollständigkeit halber aber einige Warnhinweise für deutsche User: • RunPee wird von Amerikanern bereitgestellt und orientiert sich am dortigen Filmmarkt, denn die App-Betreiber setzen sich zur Recherche immer selbst ins Kino. • Es werden nur Filme behandelt, die einen sogenannten „Wide Release“ in den USA haben. Deutsche (bzw. alle nicht-englischsprachigen) Filme fehlen da ebenso komplett wie Arthouse, Kammerspiele etc. • Die Filme werden erst dann besprochen, wenn sie in den USA flächendeckend angelaufen sind. Wenn sie in Deutschland vorher anlaufen, stehen sie noch nicht in der App. • Nicht nur die App-Sprache ist Englisch, auch die Filmtitel sind original, wodurch man die Filme manchmal schlecht findet (z.B. original „Den of Thieves“, bei uns „Criminal Squad“). • Wenn ein Film in USA und Deutschland wegen Altersfreigabe/Zensur etc. unterschiedlich geschnitten ist (länger/kürzer, wg. zusätzlicher/entfallener Szenen), passen die RunPee-Zeiten oder sogar die -Stichworte nicht mehr. Diese Unbequemlichkeiten für den deutschen Nutzer mache ich aber dem RunPee-Team nicht zum Vorwurf; das können die nicht realistisch anders handhaben. Daher trotzdem volle Punktzahl!

A GREAT app
Finally I don't have to fear having to pee during a movie or having to hold it uncomefortably. Everything works great and thank you for making it ios 6.1 compatible for people like me who still use an ipod touch that doesn't support anything higher!! (yup those exist).
Super App!
Absolut geniale Idee! Leider einen Stern weniger, da es nicht auf deutsch ist und so deutsche Filme nicht dabei sind.
