I love nebula, but why for heavens sake is the iPad app blocked on visionOS?
Das reduziert die Qualität des Gesamtpaketes stark
Airplay does not work at all in the app. And on web, it can only play audio from my phone. That is my main way of watching content so nebula is worthless for me at the moment. I really hoped to replace youtube…
There is no option to see what is on Nebula and if I like the content. I‘m not willing to sign up to something I don‘t have all the information about.
Whenever I open a video it’s without audio.
Nebula has far the best content regarding educational and informative topics. For me the app lack of a nice way to navigate through your subscriptions and my deal breaker is the lack of a comments section. Nebula has only paid customers which makes very easy for the administrators to moderate. There are far less trolls and spam in a paid service instead a free one.
Only knew about this app through a YouTube creator that claimed it is ad free, but forgot to mention it has a paywall. I blame nebula for make him telling this. Can’t even see if the 5€ is worth it, since there is no chance to try it. Not gonna subscribe blindly
Nebula certainly offers a wide array of engaging content, but the app falls short in several basic functionalities, which can be frustrating. Firstly, the absence of a 'sort by views' feature is a significant drawback. It's tough to gauge which videos are popular or highly rated by a creator, and stumbling upon a less impressive video first might put you off from exploring more of their work. Also, the app's recommendation system seems lacking. There's no helpful "if you liked this, you might enjoy..." suggestions, making it hard to discover similar content you might enjoy. It's odd when creators ask for comments in their videos, yet there's no comment section in the app. This disconnect is a bit jarring and takes away from the interactive experience. Technical issues like unsynchronized sound and video can also be a nuisance, detracting from the enjoyment of the content. Lastly, Nebula seems to repeatedly suggest the same unrelated videos, regardless of your viewing preferences. This can get repetitive and shows a lack of personalization in their algorithm. Currently, I even prefer watching stuff on YouTube as the suggestions get me engaged despite of me paying for this app and YouTube being full of ads… I guess that says it all
Please do a low bandwidth mode. I invested 1 year into nebula pro bono but it could literally not use your service. 360p ist low enough for me
