This app is outstanding! If you're looking to master the Russian language, there's no better way to do it.

I love this app! I got an ad on YouTube showcasing this app and thought ‘Wow! I’ve been looking for this all along!’ This app is great as it has books ranging from learning to read all the way to advanced Chekhov. I really like the audio that’s available and the fact the translations can be switched on and off. I think a way to improve though would be a conjugation guide. As in, clicking on a verb would open the conjugations available or clicking on a noun would allow you to see the root noun and what it looks like in different cases Other than that - amazing app!

Russian Readers is an app that gives you a blended reading, listening and grammar experience. It is perfect as a supplement to other learning materials. The breakdown of grammar is ready useful, with a good range of vocabulary. A really useful addition would be a pause button. I like how the texts are graded, there is something for learners at every level. Keep up the good work Thanks

I have tried all the apps, and worked my way through all the textbooks, and there are few learning methods that compare with the Russian Readers app. It is absolutely worth the subscription price, because you can pick up so much - not just new advanced vocabulary or even basic diminutives that Russians often say but aren’t included in many textbooks, but also grammatical constructions become more familiar by encountering them often and having them pronounced for you very slowly. The best part is that it’s equally helpful for my mum, who is a beginner, and myself, at a more advanced level. Finally a good app for learning Russian!

I learnt russian so quickly with this app: grammar is really clearly explained, examples are memorable, it's addictive enough to keep you going through the hard bits.... and my speaking has got pretty good too. Thanks to the teachers! great work

I find this is a great way to learn new vocabulary and practice listening. You can turn off the english and try to translate, which helps memorise vocab but with the words in the proper context, which is much better (and more enjoyable) than flash cards. You can also look away and just listen to practice understanding spoken Russian. The stories are nice and simple and the speaker is slow and clear. There are also videos for some stories that explain some phrases or grammar and the grammar video guides are really helpful too if you’re trying to understand why the same word has a bunch of different endings! Excellent work, keep the stories coming!

Worth every penny.

The books are well staged and beautifully illustrated. Great support from the developer, Luke. I am learning to read Russian, and my son who was born in Russia but lives in Britain is using it to learn to read Russian. Highly recommended!

Love this app. I’m using it on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It’s really helping me to learn Russian. I just wish the app was available for my Mac Studio desktop as the iPhone is a bit small to fully benefit from this terrific app. Please developers, make it available for desktop 🙏🏻
