Amazing app. A little bit disapointed because it cost money but it’s worth it if you are serious about learning the language. ive never seen a better app to learn Russian than this one because they use visual elements which is helpful to remember words and grammar is taught in context which is more effective than learning lists of vocabulary by heart.
I personally don’t like the idea of subscriptions 😔but that free trial was worth it! 🤩 Will consider buying one in the future! Sometimes I try only listening to the audio and I realise I have more Russian comprehension than I think! 🤯
The grammar tutorials are excellent and they provided very prompt assistance when I was linking my devices to the app. Highly recommend!

I was hoping to find something where I could try 1 or 2 stories for free then the rest being paid but nah it’s all for money so I don’t get to read 3 pages of a book without pulling out my credit card I get that you guys need to make money but just let me read 5 pages of a book then let me pay.
I wanted to have this app so I can read Russian books (children/toddler books) so I can learn Russian a bit better and to make it more fun for me but there’s only like 3 books that doesn’t cost the subscription and I don’t like it.
I love this app! I am learning the Russian language and our teacher suggested that to learn it faster we need to read, listen and practice the language. I discovered Russian Reader and was so excited as it reads the words using a real human voice, has the option of translating it in English and reads at a pace I can follow! I love it so much I suggested it to the other students in my Russian class.
The option to toggle English off and on is amazing. Great for immersing yourself in the language, super app!
My brother told me about Russian Readers after I mentioned that I hadn’t been able to find any Learn Russian apps that I liked. I love this app! The interface works great, there’s always new content coming out, and this has really helped me develop my language skills to a point where I’m able to email my grandparents back home. Can’t recommend this app strongly enough!
I am a very entry-level language learner and like the basic book reading approach — it makes what has always seemed a daunting language a little more accessible for the newbie.
