• Scan items you want as you walk around the store
• Pack your items as you shop
• Pay in a flash and feel like a VIP at one of our SmartShop checkouts** Or pay with Apple Pay!
You can use SmartShop on your mobile data or our free in-store WiFi, where available.
To see if SmartShop is available in your store, just tap the ‘Find a SmartShop store’ button in the app, or visit http://stores.sainsburys.co.uk and apply the ‘SmartShop’ filter within ‘Customer facilities’.

Doesn’t Work!
Just keeps telling me their ‘server’ is down for the last 24 hours - waste of time!
App won’t work
Keep trying to register but keep getting the message that there is a server issue. Have been trying for two weeks but it still will not work
Great at first, no longer works
Noticed about a week ago that the app had completely stopped working. It launches fine and all my data appears, but when I tap on the “start a shop” screen command the app thinks for a sec as though loading my nearest Sainsbury’s smart shop location (as it usually does), but then does nothing after that. No amount of tries makes a diff. I’ve resorted to using the store’s own hand held scanners which are a bit fiddly, not to mention the irritating beep that sounds after every product is scanned. Devs, PLEASE FIX THIS APP asap. In the meantime how about you let users know what the heck is going on and, more importantly, what’s being done as a proper fix? Cheers.

Used to work fine but now it doesn’t work at all.

Is the person who wrote this app clueless? It can't even automatically recognize my Nectar app card! How am I supposed to scan a virtual card? And when I try to manually enter the card number, it keeps showing an error. It's so frustrating!
App does not work
Tried repeatedly to register my nectar card on the App. Keeps saying server issue. This has gone in for days. Sainsbury’s are no help at all. Waste of time. This sums the inefficiency and incompetence that defines Sainsbury’s.
No longer works
Was working fine and then suddenly decided that I needed to rescan my Nectar card which it claims is registered to someone else. Bit of a shame as it was handy for the quick shop.

Great App
Love the app been using for a long time now makes shopping so much easier and quicker. One suggestion would to be able to create more than 1 shopping list like some of the other shopping apps
