Developed specifically for individuals with POTS, the SALT program is an expert-backed training program designed to help you improve your symptoms through a personalized approach. The program offers a comprehensive approach to health that includes physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Our guided workouts are tailored specifically for POTS and created by an Exercise Therapist & CPT who knows firsthand the unique challenges of living with POTS. This program was created to be as EDS-friendly as possible, and all exercises can easily be modified to meet individual needs. Take the first step towards reducing symptoms and improving your overall quality of life with SALT for POTS.
With a focus on reconditioning, cardio conditioning, connective tissue remodeling, and overall health, the SALT program starts with an assessment of your current level of fitness and symptoms and then matches you with the best starting level for you. We'll provide guidance and support throughout the program to help you stay on track and make progress, with an option to add one-on-one coaching as well.
The program consists of 12 levels and a full year of programming, with options for home or gym workouts or a combination of the two. Our goal is not only to reduce your standing heart rate but also to stabilize blood pressure, eliminate adrenalin surges, and reduce symptoms across the board. In addition to exercise, SALT for POTS provides education on other lifestyle factors that can impact POTS and EDS symptoms, such as nutrition and stress management.
Also included is a bonus Pre-Salt level specifically designed for those who are bed or couch-bound, ensuring a safe and gradual transition. This preparatory stage helps build strength and confidence while prioritizing safety and health, paving the way for a successful journey through the SALT program.

I really wanted to use and like this app. But for $30 a months with no trail is absurd. I can’t even look at what the app has to offer unless I shell out $30 right off the bat. Over a $100 for the year. If I could at least SEE what the app could do for me I MIGHT pay that price. Do yourself a favor and just use google and YouTube. That’s free.
This app is amazing
I just wanted to say if you are struggling and want your life back do it! Sara’s video is inspiring and emotional because I felt her pain and struggle 100% especially having adrenaline dumps and being a mom and determined to be your best as a mother and for yourself. I’m determined and so can you! Thank you Sara! 🤍
Not as EDS-friendly as advertised
I really wanted to love this - the idea is fabulous, but the interface and exercising itself do not seem terribly EDS friendly. If you have POTS with a side of EDS, this may work, but I’d be very hesitant to recommend to other zebras, especially those who have systemic manifestations (spinal instabilities, MCAS, etc.) Additionally, the interface isn’t sensory-friendly, videos are mismatched (some have audio instructions, some don’t, all seem to be pulled from various YouTube sources and not made specifically for this app, etc.) It seems you need to switch between multiple screens to actually see your photos, and it doesn’t seem to automatically upload a schedule to follow (you have to manually make your to-do list). I don’t think the price point is terribly off for the idea and effort put in to app development, but may not be the best implementation! I’d love for a physical therapist to make an app like this, working more within “the box” of the joints for an EDS-friendlier program to help those who also live with POTS!
Amazing app
Sarah is the best. This app is very affordable and great for progressively getting back into exercise no matter what point you are starting from. It is the best!
No free trial
The idea of this app is great. But it’s very spendy for not being able to see some pieces for free or to have a free week trial. I’m not willing to pay the fee without being able to get an idea of what the content is actually like.
Don’t hesitate, just start!
Started the Salt app in mid July. I’m now on level one and shocked at the improvement in just a month. I was coming out of a several month long ups and downs type flare after having symptoms mostly controlled for 2.5 years. Suddenly my med stopped working and it took so long to find something else and get things back on track. I could barely lift my arms before starting for overhead claps. It made my whole body shake to do dead bugs. After a few weeks dead bugs were my favorite exercise and I couldn’t believe how strong I was getting. Especially core. I went to do a plank and couldn’t believe I could hold it. I also have been doing some light weights along side it and now have even been able to take the dogs on short walks and go on some short bike rides. It’s honestly crazy. I was in bed or sitting laying most of the time since mid April-top of July. I’ve never stuck with a program and it took me a few tries to commit but I’m starting to believe things are possible that I didn’t before. Not letting pots control and dictate my life anymore. Getting stronger every day 🙂 so thankful for the program. Don’t hesitate to try this. You will be amazed at how quickly you improve. It is gradual enough that you won’t get thrown into a flare but just the right amount that you will build each day and suddenly one week you’ll realize you feel strong not weak doing the exercises and the soreness and trouble you had at the start you don’t have anymore. I also can stand for longer periods of time and be more active around the house as well. Pair this program with compression socks, electrolytes, medicine if you need it to be able to start exercise in the first place, and a healthy diet and you will start to have some hope for your reconditioning! I thought it was crazy to hear someone with pots could now ride a horse or ski and do active things of that level but now I’m inspired and starting to think maybe it is possible. Baby steps each day. The the very slow gradual way of this program is really what makes it work. Stay committed, don’t over do it, just do the plan as it’s laid out! Give it a few weeks and you’ll be convinced it’s worth continuing. I am so thankful this program was created. It’s so easy to follow and it has truly turned things around for me already. I have hope now that I didn’t before!
Highly Recommended!
An all encompassing app to help users progress safely through a recovery program designed specifically for POTS and EDS.
As a Physical Therapist, it is so refreshing to have this resource that I can trust when referring my patients to! It takes a holistic approach to addressing POTS and EDS through fitness, nutrition, education, and creating a community for support. I highly recommend this app to anyone dealing with these conditions!
SALT to the Rescue!
I have had POTS for over 20 years but finally diagnosed 3 years ago. This app has helped me gain knowledge and understanding about weight lifting and exercise. Prior to this I was mainly on my bike, which helps, but I needed something a bit more. In comes SALT and the exercise program. Here’s the kicker with this program, you can literally start anywhere. If you are in bed most days, there’s exercises for you to start with. If you are like me and can hop on a bike and do all the day to day activities, there’s a place for you to start. But it doesn’t stop there, it includes nutrition and a knowledge base with articles and blog posts on POTS recovery. In my opinion, it’s a well rounded program for anyone with POTS & EDS. It’s easy to use and the developer is very responsive too which puts SALT at 5 stars for me.
AMAZING!!!
SALT for POTS has changed my life! With personalized workouts and nutrition plans, I am able to manage my symptoms and live a more fulfilling life. Highly recommend for anyone with POTS!
Refreshing and wonderful
I am a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with over 20 years of experience and am always looking for ways to help our patients. Chronic illnesses can be devastating especially when there are no clear cures so finding ways to empower our patients, give them goals and a program that can improve quality of life is imperative. Medical therapy is much more than prescribed drugs as nutrition, fitness, mental health are all key elements in overall health and perhaps more important with chronic disease. This program is the first I have seen that truly aims to help those with POTS and EDS in a whole body manner. Medical oversight is needed to ensure a safe start but this program gives control back to the patient. This program empowers mental and physical health with the challenges that come with POTS. If you struggle with these conditions I highly recommend you take a look at the program.
