The SalzburgMobil app is the perfect trip assistant as you travel through Salzburg on public transportation. Get up-to-the-minute updates on scheduled departure times with integrated real-time information, receive bulletins about current service restrictions and disruptions, let our route planner show you the fastest route to your destination, and buy your ticket conveniently and simply right there on your smartphone.
Registration is only required for ticket purchases in order to personalize your ticket.

Departure monitor with interactive map display
If you activate the GPS locator on your mobile phone, the interactive map display in the SalzburgMobil app will show you your current location as well as all stops including departure times in your immediate area. With the help of the integrated search box at the top, you can find a specific stop whenever you wish and use the route planner to plot the best way to reach your destination.
Route planner
Planning your route has never been easier: Use the search function at the top of your screen in map view to enter your preferred destination. The system will automatically use your current location as the starting point. By pressing the red arrow button, you can also change the starting point manually if you wish. If you expect to make the trip on another day or at a different time, you can also adjust this manually by pressing the clock symbol. In addition to departure times for public transportation, the app will also suggest simple routes by bicycle, on foot, by car or taxi. Which makes it exceptionally easy to mix-and-match your planned excursions however you please.
Settings and filters
By selecting preferred modes of transportation and different options for sorting search results (number of transfers, duration, arrival, departure, price, CO2 emissions), you can individually determine and access relevant routes and information. If you use a specific starting point or destination frequently, you can easily save this to your favorites and quickly select it from the list of suggestions whenever you use the app.
Well informed thanks to our “Traffic Reports”
Under the menu item “Traffic Reports”, we post all the latest information and any disruptions affecting public transportation – includes Obus/Albus bus lines and Salzburger Lokalbahn trains. The information and disruptions listed here may impact multiple lines and stops.
Ticket function
With the SalzburgMobil app, you can conveniently buy tickets using your smartphone, regardless of whether you are still at home or have already left. Before you can buy tickets, you must register using the app. You may buy the following types of tickets:
SVV hourly ticket Salzburg central zone (full fare, senior, minimum, youth)
SVV 24-hour ticket Salzburg central zone (full fare, senior, minimum, youth)
SVV regional one-way tickets (full fare, senior, minimum, youth)
SVV regional day tickets (full fare, senior, minimum, youth)
Current payment options
credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express), Apple Pay, EPS

Ausbaufähig aber funktioniert
Einige Kritikpunkte sind nachvollziehbar (Bsp. kein Paypal, ausbaufähige Suchfunktion), aber die teils unterirdischen Bewertungen kann ich nicht verstehen. Kurze Registrierung (bei mir spontan keine 5 Minuten vor Fahrtbeginn) mit Kreditkarte und los gehts! Es können über die eine Registrierung Tickets für mehrere Personen und in den verschiedenen Preisstufen gekauft werden und neben den Ticketabruf in der App werden diese per Email zugestellt. Bei den fairen Preisen für Tagestickets in Salzburg kann ich mit den kleinen Macken der App gut leben.
Ticket lösen umständlich !
Zum Besuch in Salzburg die App runtergeladen. Zum ersten muss man sich registrieren zum Ticket kaufen. Dabei kann man nicht wie bei Apple typisch das vorgeschlagene Passwort nützen da es als zu lang beanstandet wird. Zum zweiten wird man im Anschluss noch um persönliche Daten genötigt wie „wo man wohnt etc“. Last Not least wird Paypal und vor allem apple-pay nicht unterstützt. Nach dem vielen hin und her .. hab ich im Bus bar bezahlt… elektronisch geht da leider auch nicht… in der heutigen Zeit rückständig !
Nur noch ein roter Fehlerbalken
Egal was ich lade, bekomme nur noch unten einen roten Fehlerbalken mit "An error has occured" immer wenn ich die Karte bewege. Somit völlig nutzlos.
Unbenutzbar
Hier wurde mal wieder mit dem Faxgerät digitalisiert, die App ist völlig unbenutzbar. 1. Wieso kein Kauf ohne Registrierung? Es sollte ein Direktkauf möglich sein — besonders für Touristen und besonders in Coronazeiten. 2. Wieso kein PayPal? - Ticket kauf nicht möglich, trotz Visa und MasterCard. 3. Wenn schon Accounts, dann bitte auch sign in mit Apple & Co. nutzen 4. Felder richtig benennen, damit Autocomplete funktioniert, z.B. beim Passwort. 5. Ihre Passwortrichtline sollten Sie überdenken. Ein Limit nach oben bei 15 Zeichen ist doch nicht sinnvoll. 6. Kein Fuzzy search bei Zielen. Entweder man weiß, dass der Salzburger Flughafen “Salzburg Airport” heißt, oder man fährt halt nicht hin. Fazit: Ein Stern ist zu viel.
Zahlung funktioniert nicht mehr
Beim ersten Kauf alles wunderbar, seitdem funktioniert keine einzige Zahlung mehr!
Katastrophe
Wehe man Verlässt sich auf die App- dann kann man gleich die Strafe einkalkulieren. Bezahlung mit Karte geht nicht mehr. Kein Paypal in der Zahlungsoptionen. Deutlich schlechter als früher…so geht Mobilität und Klimaschutz nicht . Usability version 0.9
Zahlungsmethode wird nicht akzeptiert
Bei Eingabe der (korrekten) Kreditkartennummer kommt die Fehlermeldung „Wert ungültig“ Paypal Zahlungsoption sollte heutzutage Standard sein
unbrauchbar
Apifehler bei Ticketbestellung
Totaler Reinfall
App stürzt dauernd ab, Ticket kann nicht gebucht werden, Fehlermeldung erscheint. Neu gestartet, neu installiert, alles ohne Erfolg - Finger weg
