For an app dedicated to business travelers, this is unnecessary cluttered, sending tons of unnecessary information. The attempt at conveying emotions (“Oh No! Your plane is late”) is just another distraction. Learn from Google Assistant or Alexa and stay neutral and professional. The fact that there is no associated website to edit or review your information from the comfort of your computer is a huge downside.
