SanDisk Memory Zone

Terrible update and much worse than original app! Private Access Vault does not work When will you fix this waste of time replacement app for what was a great iXpand app that you have discontinued You should be ashamed!!!!!!!!

You can’t select files and email them direct as you might from the iOS native Files area, or like you used to be able to do with the original app. You can’t copy files from the disk to your Files either as none of the files are listed as supported (despite the fact they do open on my phone). So I’m left with files I can’t access unless I use a laptop. Which is pretty much negates the point of having this app on my phone.

The old app was so much simpler to use. You could view all the photos by scrolling through. This new version was so confusing I accidentally deleted all my data. I hope they will either fix it or keep the old version

Now pushed into using this App, was so easy with the iXpand app, was just as a wanted! Memory Zone is now it’s a pain to use! Sandisk needs to do much better I’ve been a loyal customer for many years, hope it’s not a sign of things to come

Can’t think of anything good to say! Keeps ordering files by date modified so to find anything I have to tell it to sort by name and then scroll down. No option to search. It sometimes tells me it cannot preview a pdf - that is until I reload it. Gone back to using the old version and when that stops working I’ll look for something else - and it won’t be ScanDisk.

The old version can view iPhone photo sort by date, so that I can copy the most recent iPhone photo to the SanDisk drive. Now, I can’t find my recent phone. It’s just sort by type, size, etc. I can’t even find my video.

This provides none of the features of the iXpand app. Very basic and no support for the Private access folder.

When is the SanDisk memory Zone App being updated with the ability to create photo dates and named folders. I’m currently using XPAND drive thats not supported beyond March 2025. ☹️ To say I’m disappointed is an understatement………. Please please sort this out.

So clunky compared to the previous xpand software. Using the previous xpand software you could scroll through from one picture to the next. In this one you have to open each one individually, close it, go back back and open the next one - so clunky compared to the old version!

It appears that the upload date of the videos is not visible on the new app as it was in the old ScanDisk app. This makes it impossible to find a video by upload date. In that sense the old app is much more user friendly. Searching and finding videos on the new app is almost impossible
