Before you start
Download the Santander International Mobile Banking App.
Log on to Santander Internet Banking and click on the link to register for Mobile Banking.
We’ll send a One Time Passcode to the mobile number or Email address that’s registered to your account.
A QR Code will be generated and shown on the screen.
Once that’s done, it takes just a few minutes to get started with Mobile Banking.
1. Open the app and scan the QR Code that is shown on the Internet banking screen.
2. You will be asked to enter a new PIN.
3. We’ll ask if you want to set up Touch ID or Face ID to log on. (Depending on your device).
And that’s it, you’re in.
Remember…
• Never share a One Time Passcode (OTP) with another person. Not even a Santander employee.
• Never download software or let anyone log on to your computer or devices remotely following or during a cold call.
• Never enter your Online Banking details after clicking on a link in an email or text message.

Santander Mobile Banking will not run on devices that have been jailbroken.

I am trying to load/open the app and it goes to a ‘scan’ mode but I have no idea what it wants me to scan and gives zero information on what is required. Either the app is stupid or more probably I am!!!

I opened the app recently and found two recent notifications it said I had been sent, one read, the other unread. I don't remember seeing any notifications and what's more, the Apple settings doesn't even have an entry for Santander International app.

I find the app is missing features. I hold 2 Santander accounts. I would like to transfer money each month from one to the other. For example £130 for oil, £160 for electric and £150 for rates (few on many I want to do) Some months the amount changes - oil may need reduced to £80 for example. The app doesn’t allow you to adjust the amount. Also the app doesn’t allow references / search references. If my elec bill came I would like to do a quick transaction search to see how much I’ve saved to pay the bill. Can features be explored?

Very bad customer care, to login on phone is a nightmare. Mobile banking very bad, nothing to report scam soon as possible. Spent over one hour on phone to report scam. Worse bank had in my life…

Where is the OTP message?

I had issues in February setting up this new banking app. For some reason, I did not receive the OTP messages. Someone at the bank advised that it had been resolved and now I have a new phone, I have the same issue. I am not receiving the OTP messages. I cannot call your premium rate number as I am calling abroad and my phone will not allow me to progress. I sent a secure email on Sunday and today (I realise yesterday was a bank holiday). Shambles and if I cannot access my account I will close it.

Having used Revolut and monzo since selling my business I forgot how professional grown up banks are. Proper security, reliable and trustworthy. The app was easily to set up, the OTE method generated by the app is a revolution, last time I had to use a keypad. Really clear and easy to use app!

Does. Not. Work. Just a QR scanner which can’t access the camera. Has anyone even tested this? The Isle of Man branch is now closed, so I have NO service from this bank. Great work everyone
