Well colour me impressed (it's a kind of desaturated khaki I believe)

What a terrifically useful idea, this app. I downloaded it when it was featured in an App Store story (I think? I could be wrong - in any case, I only stumbled across it) and had a quick go in a JB Hi Fi (lots of discrete objects - lovely) and was mildly impressed. Then I forgot all about it until the iOS 15 launch promoted it once more and, having given it a proper going over, I've realised just how much more useful than I thought at first it really is. I can see all these little moments where Scan Thing would be the *perfect* app for the job, if not the only one capable. I love it - and it’s been made so approachable and friendly it’s just rad fun to use it (I keep playing the instructions again every now and then just ‘cause I like the style 🥰) Nicely done, dev(s)! 👏

An amazing tool for Ideation

Being able to scan and have the background removed in a matter of seconds really reduces the time it takes to rapidly come up with an idea. I often go from 2D-3D-2D so being able to isolate the object with going into photoshop is amazing.

Simple and Brilliant

Does exactly what it says and does it well. I was impressed with the first photo on the trial. Kept snapping away and playing with it. Then it asked me to pay. I paid up straight away. Get it.

Absolutely amazing

I did not really have any plans how to use Scan Thing but I liked the idea and how it works Now I find myself using it often as I take pictures as reminders on what to buy or. References. The fact that the thing you want is the only thing in the picture and gloriously looking 3D - it makes you focus. Good work, team!!

Great but......

The app is great for doing what it claims but one more action is needed. In object mode it needs to create not only a solid white background but a clear background to so that the image can be place over a selected background and look part of that scene. Others, congratulations.

Awesome tool

This app scans everything. It is easy to use, great results, no strings. No upgrades, not accounts, no limits. Developer is quick to respond, continues to enhance. Best scanning app.
