I’ve been using Scelta for a couple of years now and I think it’s an amazing app. Not only does it record and track your weight but it also incentivises your efforts to reach that elusive weight goal. There are three adherence report screens, 7, 14 and 30 days which you can use to see your progress over the short or longer term. There is also an overview screen with more detailed information. However, all is not roses. The app is sadly lacking in two main areas; it won’t produce printed reports and it will not sync with other devices. I have it on my iPhone and on my iPad and I have to enter my daily data twice to achieve any sort of synchronisation at all. It is a paid app so there’s really no excuse for this lack of versatility.
Great simple easy to use weight tracking app. What caught my eye was the watch faces on the Scelta Apple Watch App Store, but I can’t seem to find how to use it. Extras stars for hints :) *update Thanks for the hints Joe, extra stars as promised!
I am writing to let you know that there is a typo in the brief description of the app, it says ‘loose or gain weight’ and I believe you mean ‘lose’. :)
Really dig this app, but would love to have an alternate view to enter data for body fat percentages when I have it recorded, if possible ☺️
Simple and works well. Nice on watch Annoying thing is it forgets the last weigh in when adding a new one, so you have to scroll miles
The hardest part of attempting weight change is dealing with the inevitable noise in data - OMG I went up/down 400g but I’ve stuck to my plan /broken every rule- which always tends to demotivate me -how can I know what works for me. This app is great because I can see if I am above or below the trend, if the trend is still in the right direction and the 3 time period options means that short term hiccups are not my only focus. It has given me a longer term view. The only thing I would love to see is that “compliance” with the goal could be set at “at least” a value e.g. at least 600g per week so that if you exceed your aim it still says you have reached 100% of your goal not that you are 73% compliant.
