If you are an actor, this is a great app to get those longer scripts for theatre into your head and body. Unfortunately the one feature for running separate selected scenes does not work any more. Fine for a short script - more of an issue is you have 20+ scenes you didn’t record in sequence.
This is a very nice app...for shorter scripts. But for longer scripts, you really need 2 things: import function to import the script, and a text to voice function instead of recording your own voice for all characters (this can become very tiresome for longer scripts). Cheers
I downloaded this app 2 years ago and have used it for 6 different plays since then! I have experimented with several apps and have embarrassingly spent upwards of $20... What a waste! All you need is scene study. It takes time to setup as you have to record all lines, but it is super easy after that. Glad to see you just did an update and have available now on the Canadian App Store. I recommend this to all of my fellow thespians.
This app is super - it lets you easily record multiple parts, and then choose your part and play through, pausing at your part and prompting you as needed. Super app - best one I found.
This is amazing! I'm able to learn my lines the more natural way...including practicing them while doing other things! (Not just reading them over & over!) It's very easy to use...I glanced at the Tutorial and was ready to start! It only took me 5 minutes to enter an entire scene (3 characters, lots of lines) and start rehearsing! Plus being able to mute my lines while the rest of the scene runs through is perfect! (And if I forget a line I just have to double tap & it's played for me! It's that easy!) so if you are an actor who needs someone to run lines with then this is the app for you!! It's easy to use, works well and is so much better than learning your lines from just reading the script!! Thank you for this app!!!
Would not record at all on IPhone 3G. No response from support. Purchase at your own risk.
I found this app when I lost my tape recorder I use to learn lines. My method to learn lines just involves recording all the other lines and playing it back so I know my cues. But rewinding to find a certain part was always tricky on a recorder. There are many in depth rehearsal tool apps out there, but I just wanted a simple one! No downloading scripts, just record the lines and play it back. Just a few small glitches though, that I hope to be fixed to make this app perfect. Thanks so much!
