School Gateway

Not fit for purpose, I’m forced to use it for my 9 year old daughter’s school, but it doesn’t work, seriously get a grip! It’s 2024 and the government can’t run a basic app 😞

Messages sent by the school can take hours to arrive. This is not a true replacement for SMS or other “real time” solutions.

I have had 2 direct debits taken from my account and neither have been credited to my daughters account, got in touch only to be told they won’t help because my email isn’t registered, when it’s clearly on my account, absolutely appalling service

The app is perfect for parents but it’s a nightmare to type and send messages to the school, the keyboard takes around 10 seconds to catch up to finish the message you’re trying to type. I’ve updated and tried on 3 different phones, it’s definitely a problem within the app.

It’s helpful app. Easy to use.

Every time I have an issue school do not report it to you and simply tell me to reinstall the app I have done this several times but all of the sane issues exist!

While this app works quite well I have had recent issue with booking a packed lunch. When I select packed lunch option and confirm it says I need to select a dessert and wants me to pay for it.

App keeps sending blank messages from my phone or repeats of messages

It’s a bit clunky but it works. Main annoyance right bit is that the notifications bubble both in app and on iPhone won’t go away, I read the messages days ago! Update: notifications bubble now fixed. REALLY need to be able to see past transactions so I know if I’ve paid something or not and whether it’s been paid in full. Gaping hole in the functionality of the app. I have to keep asking school!

Updated the app last night and now when i try and view my booked sessions or try and book session the app just closes!!!!
