## SchoolMessenger Description
The new SchoolMessenger app gives busy parents, students, and staff a powerful way to stay engaged with their school or district, and connect to each other.
App Features:
- Easy-to-read inbox that captures all SchoolMessenger notifications, and now two-way teacher-parent-student messages (if enabled by school or district)
- Scrollable notification view to review all phone, email, and text content in a single place
- Detailed preference control allows adjusting notification settings
- Push notifications are available for alerts when school or district sends a message
Requirements:
- For notifications, school or district has SchoolMessenger notification service subscription with SchoolMessenger app enabled
- For notifications, valid email address on file with your school or district
- WiFi or data plan for internet access
- iOS 14+
Note: 
SchoolMessenger app is not for sending broadcast messages. If you are a SchoolMessenger Communicate notification customer looking to send broadcast messages, please download the SchoolMessenger Admin sender app.

Great way to consolidate school messages in one place HOWEVER it’s missing features. You cannot select messages to mark as read or delete them. Not all messages pertain to me so why can’t I get rid of the ones I don’t want to see?  Having to scroll through all the messages to find important ones is frustrating. Having to click open every message to mark as read (and remove the notification) is extremely slow and annoying.

There is no check off system to mark what Messages you’ve already read. It’s annoying to go into the App and re- read messages.  This lack of feature does not make it as time efficient as desired. 
For this reason only, you get 3 stars. 
My time is very valuable.  The App otherwise is super efficient and convenient.  Make the change and I will change my rating to 5 Stars.

This app hasn’t been working for me for almost 2 years now. I deleted it off my phone for a year and redownloaded it. I just get the message “Oops looks like something went wrong. Please try again later.” This is the same message I got over a year ago before I deleted it. When I go to the website it says there’s a syncing problem and to refresh my browser but it’s synced. Kind of hard to keep up with things on this app with my kid’s school when it doesn’t work….
