I love this game but what’s with the cards? Nothing to do with the game and no opt out?? The ads are ridiculous- compromise surely… ad at end of every game? U are ruining an age old board game!!

This is just pitched totally wrong for the average irl scrabble fan. Stupid pop ups every five seconds, the ui is styled to children and the whole app geared towards completely pointless collectibles and nick-nacks. Shameful.
SO MANY ADVERTS
There’s just too many ads it’s a mess. They ramp up the ads after you start playing so you don’t get the whole hoard of them at once. It’s quite unbearable. The whole app is a poorly coded cash grab. It’s quicker to force close the app than sit through the ads.

Appalling, ‘jazzed up’ version of a classic game. Wish the original was still available without the glitzy ads and so called ‘rewards’ that constantly interrupt the game.
Original was far far better
Whilst the game hasn’t fundamentally changed, why have the developers attacked it with chests, side games & further distractions under the guise of “an update”? Totally unnecessary and cheapens the game to a candy crush level. The attempt to charge the game with a tsunami of dopamine hits actually puts me off playing. There is no iPad version of the game also which the developers are missing a trick on. Previously this worked well with other devices that needs to be brought back. Overall a step back and drops the game in the bargain bucket of over complicated games. I appreciate that the developers need to make money however surely the app can be simplified?

Brilliant App!
All AI and slow software
This game constantly lags on arena results and it’s all fixed with AI players constantly taking up the leagues. I pay for pro so don’t get ads but still do not recieve my prizes a lot of which I pay for tokens or tickets to win. I have cancelled my scrabble go and will not be playing again as the cheating is a big put off and the AI take over is jus strange. Will not be wasting my time or money again for fake games or fake arena results.

Even when paid for, spend the majority of time watching ads! Infuriating!!!
What a mess
This app is bursting to the brim with annoying ads, microtransactions, and pointless gems, cards, and coins. It’s obviously an attempt to improve engagement and earn money, but it has the opposite affect - it’s very off putting. You can play scrabble, also playing against official bots, tapping to see word definitions, and tracking statistics are all good ideas in theory. The game is just completely bloated with useless features, and the experience of trying to play is miserable. I’d love a classic scrabble experience for serious players. At the very least, I want just plain old classic scrabble against other players. I’d pay a subscription if this was a smooth experience, with access to learning materials for word lists and that sort of thing. One app that delivers a great experience is the chess.com app - I would love an equivalently smooth and grown-up experience for scrabble, as some of us take this game seriously. Scrabble need to up their game. There’s no point for the average home scrabble player or advanced player to ever persist in using this app.
