Description

With ScratchJr, young children (ages 5-7) learn important new skills as they program their own interactive stories and games.

By snapping together graphical programming blocks, children can make characters move, jump, dance, and sing. In the process, children learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer. They also use math and language in a meaningful and motivating context, supporting the development of early-childhood numeracy and literacy. With ScratchJr, children don’t just learn to code, they code to learn.

ScratchJr was inspired by the popular Scratch programming language (http://scratch.mit.edu), used by millions of people (ages 8 and up) around the world. The ScratchJr interface and programming language were redesigned to make them appropriate for younger children’s cognitive, personal, social, and emotional development.

ScratchJr is a collaboration between the Lifelong Kindergarten research group at the MIT Media Lab, the Developmental Technologies research group at Tufts University, and the Playful Invention Company. The ScratchJr project has received generous financial support from the National Science Foundation (NSF DRL-1118664), Scratch Foundation, LEGO Foundation, and British Telecommunications.

Приложение классно заменяет Тоже самое только на компьютерах пожалуйста выпустите на iPad версию как на компьютерах а то это менее лучше там есть вкладка создать блог перемены а тут не всё

Become buggy

Using it as a tutor in kindergarten. There were no problems till last month - don’t know what exactly changes since GitHub repository is stalled since aug 2022. Very often items does not save it initial position. You drag it and expect that it will start from there but when you press green flag or reset button near - item resets to the previous position before dragging. Since dragging is a legit way of setting new starting position (as it was) - this behaviour looks weird Also noticed that you can grab accidentally two objects (one of them way far from touching point) and start dragging. That did not happen before but now happens systematically. Also noticed that if you grab an object and start moving in in small circled motion it will become more and more further than touching point - the sprite runs away from the place where you dragging it around. This thing is very easy to reproduce

Отличное приложение для детей

Большое спасибо разработчикам за это приложение, оно даёт шанс детям начать программировать. Только исправьте пожалуйста баг, через некоторое время начинает глючить редактор. Рисуешь в одном месте, а линия появляется в другом. И эта проблема не из-за планшета или экрана, проверено уже на пяти планшетах.

iOS version for iPad

Когда выйдет версия Scratch 3.0 для iPad? Китайцы уже пытаются делать ;) В браузере иногда подвисает и не всегда удобно работать.
