Description

With ScratchJr, young children (ages 5-7) learn important new skills as they program their own interactive stories and games.
By snapping together graphical programming blocks, children can make characters move, jump, dance, and sing. In the process, children learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer. They also use math and language in a meaningful and motivating context, supporting the development of early-childhood numeracy and literacy. With ScratchJr, children don’t just learn to code, they code to learn.
ScratchJr was inspired by the popular Scratch programming language (http://scratch.mit.edu), used by millions of people (ages 8 and up) around the world. The ScratchJr interface and programming language were redesigned to make them appropriate for younger children’s cognitive, personal, social, and emotional development.
ScratchJr is a collaboration between the Lifelong Kindergarten research group at the MIT Media Lab, the Developmental Technologies research group at Tufts University, and the Playful Invention Company. The ScratchJr project has received generous financial support from the National Science Foundation (NSF DRL-1118664), Scratch Foundation, LEGO Foundation, and British Telecommunications.

Dear scratch team

I like the game.but there are a few things that I don’t like. The characters and projects cannot be cancelled.

Too laggy and all stuff

At first, I learned coding when I was 7. At 8, it was getting fun and made 70+ projects. And now. Not good at all. Please improve it. Just make a copy and improve it and call it scratch jr 2

Well.. it’s okay…

Dear Scratch Team, I enjoy this educational coding game, anyhow, I dislike a few things: 1. Does not uses real coding blocks. 2. Very few buttons in-game. 3. A few weird things, for example, you can’t delete games, characters, drawings, stages, etc. 4. Has no page where you can explore other people’s games. I already know that my statements are false because it is for juniors, that is why it is ScratchJr. I can’t seem to find the real Scratch, Scratch 3. But it is well made, thank you for creating this game. I know that it is for young kids so it is simple. The game is great for young kids to learn and enjoy in the same time. Finally, I am also a kid, but I just need to say I am not a young kid but a old kid. Please understand, Thank you Scratch Team. Sincerely From, A Stranger.

Im irritated cause of this coding app and when I colour no colour has appeared and I am irritated I say again, get ur game fixed please!

Need a bug fix

Idk why i have good internet and the apps corrupted and i had to reopen it again and it lagged so thats why i gave it a one star.
